A little different this time.
We are currently undertaking a relatively big back end change from PHP 4 to PHP 5. If you don't know what that means, it doesn't matter, you can still help.
I need a small number of people to play their games from another server. Someone who would like to help will need to :
-Use the site in RHP colours. The other branded versions will not be available.
-Remember to enter a different URL every time they wish to use the site.
-Report any problems, and stop using the site right away if they suspect the problem is serious.
It will probably be best if your game loads are not high with very tight timebanks. (Just so I can respond to any problems.) Everything has been tested by me, and should be fine, but there is a slight chance of the odd glitch.
The test will run for about a week, if all goes well, at which point we will have a short outage and then the change will be made to the production system.
It is important to stress that there is nothing new to look at by joining this test, the version tested should behave identically to the current production version.
If you still want to help, please post here, and I will contact you with a new URL and necessary passwords. Please do not pass these around, as this test does need to be controlled.
