So far, I've gone through 100 or so moves, posted in forums and haven't had any problems.

Hi Russ,

Ads are now appearing as they generally do. Did you fix the problem?
They should not be working. Please can you confirm this again?

This is very positive.

Hi Russ,

I am pretty sure (not 100% though) that ads appeared in between my games. Something like:
'Please click here to continue your game'... which usually appear frequently in the normal site as well. If I come accross this ad again, I will let you again.

Also, just for your information, I also get this text at the bottom of the screen:
www.redhotpawn.com is supported by paid advertisements. To remove ads and unlock all site features, please click here.
Although I am sure this is not something you are referring to.

Ah, ok.

No, I mean external commerical ads, for other services. All ads for this site should be shown as normal. (The nag ad you saw for example.)

All looking very good to me now. I have even forgotten that I'm using the beta site. Been using it on and off all day,

Everything seems to be in working order, I've just made 50 moves, sent a PM, made a clan challenge, and posted on the forum.

Anything else in particular you want me to check out?

Just use the site as normal. That will be the best test.

I'm sure you'll all be keen to know that everything still works great with the Sony PSP 🙂

Access to RHP AND Grand Theft Auto in the palm of your hand? Does life get any better than that? 😉

Do you have any screenshots/photos of the PSP running RHP? I would very much like to see how it is rendered.

Thanks,

-Russ

OK, here you go. You can change the way the PSP renders pages. You can have it render them normally and you just move the page around with the "joystick" or you can get it to "just fit" which rearranges things a bit but does quite well. The last two shots show the different ways of rendering the page.

The shots have lost a bit in converting to jpeg and scaling down so I can fit them on the limited web space I have available.

By the way Russ, my offer of a donation to RHP of one PSP (shipped from Norway where we still have a bucket load of them) still stands if you promise to at least consider giving us a "Tiny" board option which is just a little bit smaller than the one we have. Don't have to actually provide a smaller board, only consider it 🙂
