would it be possible to block in-game messages from people who are on your ignore list?
A case has recently been highlighted in the Only Chess forum where a player has bullied an opponent into resigning a position which was at worst a draw.
It only makes sense. Start a game against somebody, they start sending you pap, add them to your ignore list and play out the game in peace.

Why isn't this kind of stuff implemented from the start? 😞

You may want to change the message:
People on your ignore list will not be able to send you messages, challenges, or accept your open invites. All special games types, such as clan and tournament games, are not protected by the ignore list. Messages over the board are not currently blocked.
