would it be possible to block in-game messages from people who are on your ignore list?

A case has recently been highlighted in the Only Chess forum where a player has bullied an opponent into resigning a position which was at worst a draw.

It only makes sense. Start a game against somebody, they start sending you pap, add them to your ignore list and play out the game in peace.

I think this proposal would be very well recieved by most of players who do not want to put up with obnoxious msgs....

Why isn't this kind of stuff implemented from the start?

For some people their sole point of existence seems to be to abuse their opponents or other players whether by PM, in the forums or in game messages.

I think most people enjoy a bit of friendly banter and I am glad to say I have so far avoided the outright rude.

You may want to change the message:
People on your ignore list will not be able to send you messages, challenges, or accept your open invites. All special games types, such as clan and tournament games, are not protected by the ignore list. Messages over the board are not currently blocked.

How does someone bully another person into doing ANYTHING on the internet ? I feel pretty safe in my home, behind my keyboard !! Not to make light of the situation, but I can not see how it could be done.
