i cant understand what God does anyway, im only human, either can you.
this is from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_commandments

"You shall not murder."
The right of states to execute criminals is recognized when necessary to preserve the safety of citizens. However, other methods of protecting society (incarceration, rehabilitation) are increasingly available. Catholics (along with many Protestants) also consider abortion sinful and a violation of this commandment. War, if rigorous conditions of moral legitimacy are met (that is, the "use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated"😉, is not a violation because "governments cannot be denied the right of lawful self-defense, once all peace efforts have failed."

so i would say God would kill or command someone to kill only when absolutely necessary.

What did Ai and Jericho do to them? And more specifically, what did the infants do to them? Would you kill innocent descendants of nazis who were responsible for the holocaust if God told you to do so?

obviously, they did the same as what was done to them.

Would you kill innocent descendants of nazis who were responsible for the holocaust if God told you to do so?

no that is rediculuous. dont say WHAT IF God asked me to do that, cuz obviously he didnt ask ANYONE to do that since the descendents of nazis werent killed.

i think thats just an assumption, since God said "do what they did to you" or they just got carrried away.

Any evidence for that? And once again, what did the infants do to them?

Would you kill innocent descendants of nazis who were responsible for the holocaust if God told you to do so?

It's obviously a hypothetical question. I thought it would be easier for you to imagine a situation in our own time, but it's the same thing - killing infants for something their parents or ancestors did (although I don't think it even says anywhere that the people of Ai or Jericho were guilty of mass murder) because your God tells you so.

Where did he say that? It says "And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king", not "as they did".

Edit: Frogstomp is too fast for me. And I really really really need to go to bed.
