The question is only answered by him and Jesus Christ, it isn't a check list of I do
believe this, I don't believe that. Its Jesus Christ alone, the Way, Truth, and Life. The
discussions on these boards rarely talk about things that matter when it comes to
Christ. We can disagree on the age of the earth, Hell, getting baptized in the name
of Jesus, or the Father, Son, an ...[text shortened]... ING else, what is your relationship with Jesus Christ? Is Jesus Christ your
    Lord and Savior or not?
Agreed, but does it matter if I don't believe Jesus is God?

Then I possibly have an incorrect relationship with Jesus?

How can you have a "relationship" with someone you don't think exists?

    True.
It was over 2,000 years ago.
All I have to go on is stories from the bible.
Takes a lot of faith to simply just believe something that you cannot know.

By the way, there's a big difference in believing in a Creator, or an Intelligent Design......and attaching that to God or Jesus, as told in the bible.

The million dollar question is why a person believes the bible at all.

This might be an interesting thread topic if you frame it the right way.

    Help me out then.
It's a critical question, but how can it be framed properly?

If chaney3 doesn't believe that 'Jesus is God' is there any way he can avoid being tortured by Jesus forever?

You looking for a reason to dismiss Him as God? Think about this, why would a
very normal guy's death matter enough to wipe clean the sins of the whole world?
How would a normal guy get sent by God, and be with God at the beginning of all
creation? I can start running down the list, if Jesus isn't who He and scriptures say
He is, what and who is He?

John 1:1 English Standard Version (ESV)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

If you have an incorrect relationship with Jesus, what is that? Brother you really do
need to stop listening to all these people here, me included, and get alone with God
    and have at it.

So do you think it takes more faith to believe millions of years ago life started from
non-life, evolved over time, into something that cannot tell if it belongs in the boys
    bathroom or the girls?

Redirecting the onus to answer - i.e. to answer the question about what might happen - to a supernatural being and not sharing your belief is a non-answer - it is you dodging the opportunity to state what you believe.

Do you believe that Jesus is going to torture chaney3 if his current beliefs don't change?

Torture me, and all Jehovah Witnesses. And Jews too.
    Well, Buddhists too.

Its his relationship with Jesus Christ that matters, the rest would work itself out.
Just because you never had a real relationship with the living God doesn't mean
    that is true with others.
