Are you afraid of death?

Why? And what are you going to do about it?

Personally I fear dying without at least having tryed to make a change to the big problems of mankind. (like poverty hunger and war)
I think its because when my life ends and I look back on it, it would seem that my life was useless if I did not try this.

So, what does it matter? After you die, you won't know anyway.

I would fear death if I hadn't made any changes to myself.

Freud said that the our consciousness cannot fathom its non-existence. When I dwell on the matter with honesty, it terrifies me deeply. Everyone I've talked to who has given it attention has done the same. Those that I've met who deny fearing death, I suspect have never really considered it.

I don't worry about dying; it is going to happen to each of us
and Christ has taken my sins upon himself so I don't fear
death. My concerns are not so much about society as much
as my little part of it. I want my kids to grow up desiring to
have someone who loves them as much as their mom and dad
loved each other each day they lived. I want them to grow up
believing in God and honesty and virtue when people are looking
at them and when no one is looking at them! And I want to make
a difference in the lives around me, in my family, church, work,
and those I come in contact with. I do those things, I will be
a good servant to the one I owe my life too.

Sure, but you won't have any satisfaction of knowing if you did anything worthwhile, because you cease to exist. You won't know anything. .
So it is all vanity.

If we don't change while we're here, what's the point? I think it's noble to try to make big changes that benefit humanity, but the truth is, until we make big changes that benefit ourselves, that's probably not going to happen.

I guess you could say I fear the consequences of laziness.
