It might not be your point, but it was my point. Christians will be tested severely during the Tribulation. Many will be tempted and many, if not most, will fail. Many will lose their way, for the threat of losing their lives will be too much for many. I'm guessing you are one of many so-called Christians who do not believe the Tribulation will be as ba ...[text shortened]... ill die.

Oh no, Robbie, there will indeed be a great need for endurance for Christians then.
I wouldn't say most Christians will fail, I would say most will fall away from
God all pretenses will be gone. Christians will have God to lean on, and if they
are clinging to Him, He will not let them down.

There is a lot about that time period that is very scary. Life will be different
no doubt, I imagine the freedom we now have, the pleasures we partake in
like college sports and such will be altered, life as we know it will be no more.
I do not spend a lot of time thinking about, mainly for one reason, if you are
not ready today, and you die before that time it will not matter.
Kelly
But many of those who say today that they are ready, will not be ready, simply because it will be much, much worse than they ever thought it would be.

I have other thoughts about it, just by reading the signs in today's current events, but I don't want to bore you. Just take care to be prepared, and then when you think you are ready, prepare some more. And watch for the signs.

I have already demonstrated to you Suzianne that there will be a great crowd which no
man was able to number, out of all tribes, tongues and nation, which come through the
great tribulation. what did the Christ himself say,

(Matthew 10:30-31) . . .But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Therefore have no fear: you are worth more than many sparrows.

I resent the term so called, do i follow and practice the teachings of the Christ, then
I am a Christian. Yes the tribulation shall be great, yes some shall fall, but are we
to understand that God will leave his people defenceless, I dont think so.

God is faithful, even through all of that He will remain the same. The closer we
are to Him the better. I do not know how the end is going to play out, I only
know that He is my sure foundation above all that are against me, He is
greater than my heart, far greater than all my efforts, He is greater than death
itself.

If the tribulation comes and I'm still here, so is God.

why are you so afraid? Did not the Christ himself state, I am with you all the days until
the conclusion of the system? Matt 28:19,20? well then, take courage!

i was a student, was so bored i read it, was not that good a read and was like pseudo

You couldn't make this up.

actually creationism simply interprets established scientific data and makes room for
intelligence, it does not seek to establish its own, as you my friend are very well aware!

but you still do not understand.

The reason for the Tribulation is to separate the wheat from the chaff. Yes, not some, but most will fail. Of course He will not leave His people defenseless, but most of those who say they are Christians today will fail at the end.

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." -- Matthew 16:25

And yes, we already had this discussion and I told you that those people (the "great crowd" you speak of in that passage) are those who came out of "great tribulation". Not "the great Tribulation". They are the martyrs for Christ. They gave their lives for Christ's name. They didn't live "through" anything, but they did come through "great tribulation" in that they died for Christ.

As you intimated, yes, that's the group I'll probably stand with. But it will definitely be after I've "endured to the end". And I'm not talking about living through the great Tribulation, either.

Creation is a statement of faith, about an act of God not science. The issue
you should have are the amounts of statements of faith that are so called
science.

that my dear lady is simply splitting hairs, explain the difference if you will.

nope there is no indication whatsoever that they died, or that they were martyrs.

That's right, Robbie. Did I not say most will fail, regardless of what is written in scripture?

If you ask me why I am afraid, it must be because you still do not get how bad it will be. Yes, at the end, He will be with me, and that is how I will "endure unto the end". When Satan finally turns his eye to me, I am not thinking it will be a party. It will be horrible, and I know God will give me strength, but I would be stupid if I was not still afraid. At least I go in knowing it will be worse than I can imagine. I pity the souls who do still think it will be a party, for those are the ones who will be lost at the end.

And certainly more psychology than a religion, by anyone's standards.

mmm, i am not very happy about this, a Christian should not be scared of the future.
