You have declared yourself already irrevocably "saved". Why are you implying that fellow Christian divegeester is not also already "saved", like you say you are?
There is no shame in having the assurance of salvation.

You sour at the thought of it being a boast or a bragging putting oneself over others because you don't appreciate that it is the work purely of Christ the Savior.
There is nothing for the saved one to boast in except Christ alone.

"But of Him you are in Christ Jesus . . ." It is of God's faithfulness.

"But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom to us from God;
both righteousness and sanctification and redemption."

It is not the forgiven who is intrinsically better then other men.
Do not exploit the matter of a man boasting not in himself but in Christ.

"That as it is written, He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord" (See 1 Cor. 1:30,31)

By the say, I ASKED Divegeester if he had the assurance of salvation.

The declaration of irrevocable salvation comes out of the mouth of Jesus.
We just believe and receive His salvation.

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and him who comes to Me I shall by no means cast out." (John 6:37)

The assurance is in Him and in His faithfulness.
You are twisting things around so that to have this assurance in Christ's
faithfulness is made to appear as a boasting in one's own merit.

While you wonder about the moral implications of God's plan of salvation you should wonder why you have to twist the receiving of the GIFT of God to be the BOAST of self-righteousness.

Obedience of faith. Obey the faith. Obeyed the faith
These all mean ONE THING - BELIEVE AND OBEY
Obey what? Obey the commandments of Christ.
Obey the teachings of Christ.

That is right. And the first thing is to receive Christ into your heart.
That is the beginning of the obedience of faith.

The first act displaying this intention to henceforth live for Christ is to be baptized.

Then Paul says as we RECEIVED Christ Jesus the Lord we should continue to WALK in Him. The means of faith in Him does not change and we never graduate from it.

"To walk WORTHILY of the Lord to please Him in all things bearing fruit in every good work and growing by the full knowledge of God." (Col. 1:10)

See? I do not teach "easy believism". I teach along with Paul the need to "walk worthily of the Lord to please Him."

Now, here it says AS we received Him we would CONTINUE in the same manner of faith to WALK so as to bear fruit worthy of Him.

"As therefore you have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, SO walk in Him." (Col. 2:6)

You preach no such thing.
You preach disobedience.

No I don't.
"As therefore you have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him."

You tell people no righteousness is necessary

The righteousness necessary for eternal life is Christ Himself as our righteousness. In fact the believer is made the righteousness of God in CHRIST !

"Him who did not know sin He made sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Cor. 5:21)

Your declaration - to me - about you being irrevocably "saved" already - came out of your mouth.

So, divegeester just needs to SAY SO, like you, and then you'll both be "saved"?

I have not twisted anything. I'm tackling you head on and in a very linear way.

So you've dodged this one, is that right, sonship?

You do the work.
Paste in the exact post of mine upon which this criticism is based.
Ie. That I bragged that I was irrevocably saved and implied Dive was not.

Then I will examine exactly what I wrote and what is possibly your SPIN about what I wrote.

This is exactly where your doctrine is a failure. You preach TALK. You continue to TALK. You do not preach the WALK Because you do not believe in the WALK. You do not know what the WALK is about.

Those who just talk and do not walk will be cast our of the Kingdom of God.

There is no assurance of salvation.. expression in the bible.
As usual you twist the wording of the bible to suit your corrupt doctrine of doing nothing but mouth worship.

Would you expound a little on this passage?

"So then do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and make manifest the counsels of the heart, and then there will be praise to each from God." (1 Cor. 4:5)

What is the Apostle Paul instructing the Christians in Corinth here about their judging one another?

I am all ears. Teach me.

You've been asserting that you are ready irreversibly "saved" for as long as I have been conversing with you. Meanwhile, you to divegeester: "Get yourself saved and begin to pray for your loved ones and acquaintances."

There is no assurance of salvation.. expression in the bible.

Don't say that! Look.

"For we have become partners of Christ, if indeed we hold fast the beginning of the ASSURANCE firm to the end - " (Hebrews 3:14)

Huh? - " . . . hold fast the beginning of the ASSURANCE firm to the end."

Are you sure?
There is no assurance of salvation.. expression in the bible.

You are mistaken.

1.) You didn't post in the offending post. (you did quote me I think)
2.) You left it a bit vague and general. Like "You know. You know"
3.) I ASKED him if he had the assurance of salvation.
I was eager that he respond affirmatively.
And asking is not implying he is not saved.
Some are definitely saved and DO NOT have the assurance of this.
4.) My directive to get saved and pray for acquaintances was GENERAL aimed at everyone. It was not Divegeester SPECIFIC.

"Get yourself saved and begin to pray for your loved ones and acquaintances" was a GENERAL word of advice. And now will you say that I am being dishonest?

That was a GENERAL word to GENERAL readers. I didn't say no one reads my posts. OTHERS said that about my posts. I believe some others may be reading.

No assurance of salvation expression in the bible?

How about -
Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the conviction [or ASSURANCE] of things not seen."

Then there is 2 Tim. 3:14.

"But you, continue in things which you have learned and have been ASSURED of, knowing from which ones you have learned them."
