No one ever fear God as Jesus did. His own words He would not speak. His own work He would not do. And His own glory He did not seek. He feared to not live totally by and unto His Father.

"Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work." (John 4:34)

He came only to complete the work of His Father which was laid out for Him to complete.

"I have glorified you on earth, finishing the work which You have given Me to do" (John 17:4)

He sought only the Father's glory.

"He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory to Him who sent Him, this One is true, and unrighteousness is not in Him." (John 7:18)

Oh, How the Son of God feared to:
Speak His own words,
Do His own work,
Seek His own will,
Seek His own glory.

Jesus took the LEAD to fear to offend God. And He had the chief joy because He lived in such a way.

The fear of God is "the BEGINNING of knowledge"

Do you need wisdom and knowledge? The fear of God the place to start.

"The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Prov. 1:7)

If you talk to some people who have no fear or reverential regard for God, you will find that they have some of the most absurd philosophies and world views.
Some may be so confused even about their physiology and sex. It true.

Rampant nonsense is running wild in US society today much because of the loss of the healthy fear of the Creator.

Though we be foolish, Jesus the Son of God took the LEAD among men to have the healthy fear of God.

"Then a sprout will come forth from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit." (Isaiah 11:1)

Jesus was a descendent of Jesse and David.

"And the Spirit of Jehovah will rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of the knowledge and and fear of Jehovah."

If you are confused about your sexuality, come to the Lord Jesus.
His proper fear of God will help straighten your mind out.

Jesus lived by the top principle to live a proper human life - the fear of God.

He feared the commandment of His Father and it was CLEAN and PURE to Him.
The fear of God is CLEAN and PURE and ENLIGHTENS the eyes.

"The commandments of Jehovah is CLEAN. Enlightening the eyes.
The fear of Jehovah is PURE, enduring forever." (Psalm 19:8b,9)

The purity of Jesus Christ is in direct proportion to His fear of God His Father.
What a MAN ! What a God-man.

sonship, are you done talking to Mercury?

It is no shame to follow the fear of God. It is clean, the beginning of wisdom.

No one ever had the fear of God like the Son of God.
He sought the commandment of His Father with fear and regarded such reverence as PRECIOUS as RARE SILVER.

"If you seek her like silver and search for her like hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of Jehovah and find the knowledge of God." (Prov. 2:4,5)

The knowledge and wisdom that Jesus poured forth came from His fear of God and searching out the wisdom of God.

"For Jehovah gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;" (Prov. 2:6)

There is no shame in the reverential regard for the Most High, the Almighty.
Jesus took the lead to have the fear of God. And you know what kind of Person Jesus Christ was and is.

I want to tell Mercury that the fear of God is clean, pure, the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. And Jesus took the lead. If we have no sober fear of God the Almighty we may obtain some healthy fear by coming to the Lord Jesus.

Jesus regarded God His Father in EVERYTHING.
The best fear of God regards Him in everything.

We as humans should be afraid of missing the smile of God.
We should be concerned about offending God.
When He forgives out sins, this too should cause us not to be recklessly permissive towards our sin nature. Rather it should give us the incentive to not abuse His forgiveness and seek Him for our transformation.

"Therefore since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and of spirit,

PERFECTING holiness in the fear of God." ( 2 Cor. 7:1)

If you know you have been forgiven much by God you will want to have the clean fear of God and depart from unrighteousness by His empowering grace.

No, Jesus the Son of God had that purest fear of God.
He feared losing the presence of His Father.
He feared doing His own work, seeking His own glory, speaking His own words.

My God, My God WHY have you forsaken Me? was His dread upon the cross.

There the dreadful cup which He feared He made Himself drink. That is the cup of bearing the judgment of God upon Himself for the sins of Divegeester and myself, and all the world.

"WHY have you forsaken Me?"

God forsook Him for God could not look upon sin.
And God made Him to be sin that we might become the righteousness of God IN CHIRST.

Look again at His passion in the Garden of Gethsemane. He had both sorrow and fear of drinking down the awful cup which we deserved NOT HE.

"Then He said to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death, Remain here and watch with Me.

And going forward a little, He fell on His face and prayed, saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will." (Matt. 26:38,39)

I believe the Son of God was fearful of missing His Fathers' will.
And He was fearful of that awful will to die under divine judgment in my place, for me, that I would be saved.
