Ruffly from this info in Wiki, it's about 150,000,000+ killed in the "major" wars since 1914. 100 years and this many at the minimum have been killed. Probably in the time it takes to read this, a few hundred others will be dead from fighting on the planet.

did he, mind ray not working at present, will get a mad scientist to travel far into the hills to fix it. 😀
So, show us some statistics. As far as I am aware, the rates of murder, rape, starvation and wars are all going down quite significantly. What do you know that I don't?

Sorry but not going there for about the tenth time. This has been discussed over and over so no need to rehash it.

Originally posted by Proper KnobIts quite interesting, i did conduct an experiment between asking people view point questions and simply asking them if they would like a Bible study and my findings were exactly the same. You could get more conversations with the first method but sometimes its better just to cut to the chase as they say 😀
Give it a try, how else will you know? You are after all a 'man of science', or so you have claimed numerous times, here's your chance to put it to the test.

Originally posted by Suziannei know the numbers, the smaller number is worse. it tells us that violence was ubiquitous during that time. i took the numbers from just the mongol conquests alone!!! add all the other wars happing around the globe at that time and the number goes way above 11%. it maybe tragic that so many died during the 2nd world war, but people on average were much safer during the 1940's than they were during the 1200's.
Why don't you research the raw numbers and see for yourself?
Then you can ask yourself if you really think the smaller number is worse.

Originally posted by galveston75i already have. human deaths in war after the 1914 account for less than 2% of the population. much lower than several other periods of time. the highest being 11% during the mongol wars. the chances of being killed in a war are pretty small compared to the rest of the last 2000 years.

you bring it you lazy bum
2520 years - 607 B.C.E. (supposedly the end of the Davidic era) = 1914 A.D.
This pre-supposes that your 607 B.C.E. date is correct, which it is not.
It also pre-supposes that Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream of "till seven times pass over him" means 7 years or 2520 days, times 100, equaling 2520 years, is correct.
Explain that, please.

The sheer actual number difference is staggering and I do not see why you ignore it. Oh, yeah, you want it to appear that you "won" the argument.
