Who can resist God?

Some were created for noble purposes while others for common.

From Romans 9

Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father Isaac. 11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: 12 not by works but by him who calls—she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”[d] 13 Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”[e]

He was allegedly possessed by the Devil not God. Did he or did he not have free will to resist it?

Once he was possessed?

I'd have to say no. If he didn't need to be possessed, the why would Jesus put Satan into Judas?

Do you agree with Paul about Esau and the elect?

To quote snl...

You aren't too bright are you?

Did he have free will to reject the bread and leave when Jesus started talking?

Did he have free will after Satan entered his body?

Did he have free will to reject Jesus' origunal call?

Funny, we were just thinking that about you.

And I doubt SNL was the first one to think that up.

Exactly, children of Satan laugh at God's foolishness.

You bandy that epithet around a lot, methinks perhaps in the manner of a child of Satan...

Coming from one who rejects God. She certainly has friends among those who hate God.

You being against me makes me position more likely to be of God.

Oh Eltard, your twisted view of god can only be satanic. You use god as an excuse to hate others, and even I, an ignorant infidel, can see the evil in that, while you remain arrogant and blind. Hate is habit-forming you know - try to love instead, it will make your world so much more pleasant.

So are you one that knows God, or one who does not? If you do not it is only natural for you to call good evil and evil good.

So now your foolishness is God's foolishness?

You're supposed to stop digging now.
