I'm not clear how I might possess "A CHRISTIAN," although I'm fairly certain that I would not wish to.

I wonder how many non-christians and people not believing in Jesus Christ would enter this thread just because the name says "Christians ONLY please!!!".

If so, may you be blessed upon entering this thread by Jesus Christ, and please dont leave any kind of any remarks here please?

Christians! We need to pray for these people. We need to ask God to ...[text shortened]... o Your work. May we not fall down, but keep on going until You will come and take us home. Amen.
Amen Nick. I think you are courageous. 🙂

For me a Christian is a person that has a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

edit: typo
In order to have a "living" relationship with Jesus Christ, one must live his/her life as Jesus did 2 thousand years ago to the utmost of his/her abilities in this day and age every day; he/she will of course fail to live up to that measure, therefore Christ's death on the cross and his resurrection was neccesary in order to defeat death, sin and Satan and give man a choice to receive or reject Christ/ accept/reject Paradise and acccept/reject Hell. At this time, I am one who fails to live up to that measure, so I'm not preaching to anyone; I'm just describing what a "true" Christian is. There are many so-called "Sunday Christians"...you know who you are...I know who I am...

I think this was a shot across my bow. That's fine. I resent the "pray for their souls" thing, it's a religious-PC way of saying "We're better than they are." It's passive-aggressive. If you think their intentions did not include an element of that you're naive.
Ha ha! No my friend, if I had issue with you specificially, or particularly, I would have addressed you singularly if not possibly sending you a PM.

As for resenting the praying, that is your choice and right. I am well aware that it is sometimes used in the manner and with the motive you describe, but I believe you assume much with that statement.

Simply because I am curious, would you fee the same way if I said I wanted to pray on your behalf? How about Kirk? This question is irrelevant to the discussion, so feel free to ignore it. I just want to get a better understanding of your perspective.

Best Regards,
Omnislash

When you make fun of someone that believes in and serves GOD, you are making fun of GOD.
You believe in and serve nothing but your own beliefs and that's what gets made fun of.

In my religion we hold the Christ essence to be one of the Great Gods of the Universe .
Does that qualify ?
The other Gods are Jehovah, Lucifer and Satan.

Jehovah is Yahweh mispronounced. Satan is a myth. Lucifer is a fallen angel (sorta like Amy Grant).

Edmund Morris claims he was saved by Ronald Reagan, who saved 27 others if I recall correctly. Read Dutch: A Memoir for the rest of the story.

How does it serve you to know the answer to this question?

I use ta say so, 'though I never spelled his name in all caps

I think, however, that Christ is not his last name. Jesus the Christ would be a smidgen more accurate within the framework of your belief system. Outside of your belief system, the question I meant to get at with my curt response remains: saved from what? or whom?
