I wonder how many non-christians and people not believing in Jesus Christ would enter this thread just because the name says "Christians ONLY please!!!".
If so, may you be blessed upon entering this thread by Jesus Christ, and please dont leave any kind of any remarks here please?
Christians! We need to pray for these people. We need to ask God to ...[text shortened]... o Your work. May we not fall down, but keep on going until You will come and take us home. Amen.

At this time, I am one who fails to live up to that measure, so I'm not preaching to anyone; I'm just describing what a "true" Christian is. There are many so-called "Sunday Christians"...you know who you are...I know who I am...
For me a Christian is a person that has a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

I think this was a shot across my bow. That's fine. I resent the "pray for their souls" thing, it's a religious-PC way of saying "We're better than they are." It's passive-aggressive. If you think their intentions did not include an element of that you're naive.
As for resenting the praying, that is your choice and right. I am well aware that it is sometimes used in the manner and with the motive you describe, but I believe you assume much with that statement.
Simply because I am curious, would you fee the same way if I said I wanted to pray on your behalf? How about Kirk? This question is irrelevant to the discussion, so feel free to ignore it. I just want to get a better understanding of your perspective.

Have you been Saved by JESUS CHRIST?
I think, however, that Christ is not his last name. Jesus the Christ would be a smidgen more accurate within the framework of your belief system. Outside of your belief system, the question I meant to get at with my curt response remains: saved from what? or whom?
