    Reminds me of this.

    Revelation 3:17-19
    New American Standard Bible (NASB)

17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

I'm not sure if it's crazy, or just a redefinition of terms.

No, I like your analogy. You properly called it an imagined analogy and I only extended it. I can imagine the analogy extending to the point that all that we see, is a dream that God is having, to the point that some of the objects of his imagination are themselves dreaming, as you suggest. But it remains an analogy. The problem is that the language we are using forces "we" and "all that we see" and "God" into separate boxes where they cannot be.

It actually depends on how you define "Jesus" and "the guy who nailed him to the cross."

define: from de- "completely" (see de-) + finire "to bound, limit,"

What I am suggesting looks beyond any such bounds and limits.

That doesn't matter - I just want to know if you have any crazy beliefs.

Are we talking re-definition, or removal of definition?
