If anyone's interested, here's a kinda interesting article by physicist Paul Davies about what might've happened before the big bang:

Short version: the big bang marks the origin of not only space but also time, so according to theory there was no "before" the big bang. And the "first cause" argument - that something must have caused the big bang - is wrong, because it makes assumptions about the universe which are not true, namely that all events in the universe have causes. Quantum physics shows that at the basic level the events of the universe are uncaused, and that particles constantly come into existence without origin. The theory does not require a supernatural "first cause."

I just asked if he was homeschooled. Are you suggesting that linking him with homeschooling is an insult to homeschooling? Perhaps it's something about the way he writes or his unorthodox ideas? Are insulting S. Carpface?
