A few, (christian ), posters have, (sometimes directly), said that the world/society (?) is in decline?

Anyone think that this is true and if so what are the signs of this ? (I dont see any definite signs that society is in decline - except for the same ones that have existed for years.)

In Biblical history, God has "turned His back' on societies where sexual deviations are accepted as the norm, and societies that worship false gods.
We are in times where this is going on.

How do you equate "sexual deviations" ,(and other such "transgressions" ), with something much more harmful like WAR?
It is only in recent times that nations have resorted to diplomacy and started to accept others rights to freedom, etc. It has been war,war and more war in history.

These days there are few christians out there that would try to forcibly convert anyone to their faith like they did a few hundred years ago.

Perhaps there were better times in (Bilical?)history but whatever golden ages civilizations have had have always come to an end through the agression of conquering hordes.

Only in recent times have we had children growing up their whole lives with an understanding of the whole world ,via modern technologies such as the net.
This global understanding is the backbone of moving forward into a better, peaceful world where to "not to crap in's one backyard", the backyard is extended to mean the whole world.

edit: Also do you really think that their is more worship of false gods than in the past? how would you measure such a thing?(considering the population growth graph in the last 100 years)

But surely this has gone on throughout recorded history?

And what 'sexual deviations' are you talking about? Surely if something is accepted as the norm then it is not a deviation by definition?

I refute nearly every point here.

A lot of things have increased because there are way more people in the world. But I bet if you took it as a percentile then you would find that your claims are outright wrong.

Are you talking about a decline in the last 100 years or the last 5000years?

Alcohol abuse is the cause of most road accidents and domestic violence and street crime.

Increasing the hours for alcohol consumption is putting fuel on the fire.

What do hotels have to do with that? And show me some evidence that alcohol is the cause of most road accidents.

I used to play violent video games eg "Doom" before DVDs were invented.
