Just to be clear, I'd like to point something out to you too. I share this issue so please
don't think I'm picking on you. Those people who killed Jesus did so while they
could see all the things He did, raising people from the dead, healing the blind, and
the lists go on and on. When Peter and John healed the lame man who went leaping
and praising God, then the chief priest forbid them to preach about Jesus.

I used to think how blind could those guys were, until someone asked me if there
were things God was attempting to show me that I was ignoring or was blind
too. We all need eyes to see, we need the grace of God to get from where we are
to where we need to be. Don't be so ready to find the faults in others when we
may share them and we are blind to them.

Do you have things that God is trying to show you, that you are missing?

Yes, I am a Christian mess.

I am in no position to lecture anyone, but I can offer an opinion to a problem when I see it.

In Dive's case, he is rejecting the notion of hell, when hell is clearly discussed all throughout the bible.

He has a problem.

Brother take heart, in our weaknesses He is strong. He is called the Good Shepard
for a reason, just keep your eyes on Jesus He will bring you where you need to be.

No, I don't think I believe in hell.

I have the same problem as you, which is why I'm commenting.

If God loves us, and Jesus died for us, then maybe we're all saved somehow. Not sure how, but true love doesn't send us to an eternal hell.

You have no evidence of this. There would have been contemporaneous accounts.

I never said he was a fake Christian because of the hell issue.

Are you sure you have never accused divegeester of being a "fake Christian" while citing his rejection of torturer god ideology? You are claiming you have "never" done that?

I called him a fake Christian many times, and even started a thread about it.

But it was because of his personality, in general, and how un-Christian he acts. Not because of hell.

How can he be a "fake Christian" because of "his personality"? You mean he rubs you up the wrong way? Are you a "fake Christian" because of your "personality"?
