@moonbus saidThat sentiment is in the bible and Paul referred to it several times. Here is one -
Buddhism teaches that the origin of the universe is undefined. Knowing whether the universe had a beginning or no beginning does not help one to achieve the blessed state. It is useless information and not worth trying to find out.
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; (1 Timothy 1:4-6 KJV)
There are some who have lost focus on what Jesus said and instead spend their time on questions which do not edify, neither encourage the keeping of the commandments, which is charity and brotherly love. Their conversation is all pointless vain jangling.
@rajk999 saidReally how is that true? It may not fit nicely into your worldview but excluding it as useless or meaningless only shows your not interested in anything that may show gaps or conflicts. Since truth doesn’t contradict itself having the full picture without contradictions is a necessary component to know if what we believe is believable.
That us a meaningless piece of information.
@moonbus saidUndefined is away of saying we don’t know and we have nothing to offer. That is not an explanation it is admitting nothing can be offered that is reasonable.

@kellyjay saidVain jangling.. I dont engage in that, sorry.

@kellyjay saidYes, that is right, it is not an explanation. It means that an explanation of this is not needed to reach the blessed state.

@kellyjay saidSome examples of a blessed state according to Jesus -
Is ignorance a blessed state?
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
(Matthew 5:3-9 KJV)
You are million miles away from that.
@rajk999 saidYes, and what does that have to do with the conversation taking place?
