I have no idea what you are referring to about myself being super natural?
Immortality for humans is a supernatural notion.

@secondson said
Where in Galveston's post did he say the "human race gets wiped out"?
It's what the first 170 or so words of his poat mean.

Jesus is coming, and in the finality of this age all those that reject him will be "wiped out" and "become extinct". Then God will create a new heaven and a new earth, and "...in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus"(Eph. 2:7), forever and ever to those that believed.
What kind of things do you believe you will be doing on the "new Earth"?

You should have stopped there.

We are supposed to objectively discussing the teachings of the bible.
Promise? Is that how you will start posting from now on?

I gotta see this!

No, it's God's promise.
You call it a "notion" because you don't believe it.

Galveston75 didn't seem to realize that humans being immortal would be a supernatural phenomenon. He pretended to have no idea what I was referring to.

That's funny. I didn't read in Galveston's post anywhere the terms you used.

Looks like you simply mischaracterized his words and inserted your own. Possibly deliberately. To obfuscate intent? Untenable.

Maybe he didn't know what you were referring to.

After all his understanding of the Bible comes from the minds of those at the Watchtower Bible and tract society that do his thinking for him.

If you don't get my point because of the words I used, that's OK. If you think I am being dishonest in some way, that's OK too.

Fair enough question.

In a nutshell, Kingdom business.

Presumably you think you are a more independent-minded Christian than he is.

Is that the best you can do ?

So what's your point? Do you think Galveston was saying the human race will be wiped out and become extinct?

If you are being dishonest, then shame on you. If not, then don't worry about what I think.

I'll let you know exactly, precisely and unequivocally what it think.

For example: if I really thought you were being dishonest I'd say so. Instead, what I actually think is that you're making hay over Galveston's misunderstanding and misapplication of biblical theology relative to the "end times" and the "last days", which is your prerogative of course, but it is a fruitless and vain pursuit to question a person out on the fringes of accepted scholarship with regards to the biblical narrative, by you an unbeliever.

It's just all crazy talk from my perspective.
