@rajk999 saidWho says anything in the Bible is from God? All are assumptions. Perhaps those who believe some things are from God while others are not (except when plainly stated) ought to go through the Bible and identify what is actually from God delete the extra stuff and have a less misleading holy text.
Who said it was from God
The letter is addressed to the Christians in Ephesus and generally to all Christians.
The salutation directs us about the audience:
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus and are faithful in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 1:1)
It instructs Christian wives to submit to their husbands. And it also exhorts ALL the believers to be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.
Giving thanks at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our God and Father; Being subject to one another in the fear of Christ." (5:20,21)
It exhorts Christians husbands to love their wives with the same self sacrificing love Christ had for the church - willing to lay down His life for her.
Husbands, love our wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her." (5:25)
Husbands, wives, and all the believers should seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit to be empowered to manifest these Christ-like practical righteous deeds.
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be filled in spirit,
Speaking to one another is psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with your heart to the Lord, ... (v5:15-19)
This is a general home and meeting atmosphere of enjoying the Psalms and word of God - with a joyful heart and giving thanks not quenching the indwelling Holy Spirit.
This turning the heart to Christ EMPOWERS the believers to have such a harmonious meeting and family life.
Finally BE EMPOWERED ... in the Lord and in the might of His strength. (6:10)
Beware of the accusation from Rajk999 that this is just vain "mouth worship".
Faith takes Christ as everything we need in terms of thanksgiving, submission, forgiveness, love, harmony, obedience.
That Christ would make His home in your hearts through faith. ( 3:17)
"Lord Jesus. By faith I take You. Be everything I need. Lord Jesus live out Your life in me as the proper husband, as the proper wife. By faith, Lord Jesus, I believe you can supply us with whatever we need. Amen. Thankyou Lord Jesus."
