The only way one can pull it off in a house would be for a woman to be willing to be submissive. It would require a special woman to pull that off. Most are quite the opposite.

4 lies 1 truth

Whether or not a woman is submissive reflects the woman. It has nothing to do with the man.

So you are saying your wife is submissive? Perfect Christian wife?

My wife told me she would never be a submissive wife because her father abused her as did her older brother, not sexually but physically.

She was a stay at home mom when our kids were in school.

So your wife is not submissive but is like most women.

@Eladar

So what I quoted is not true.

Do you mean is it a true exhortation?
Why would it not be a true exhortation?
Of course it is.

So the additional exhortations that I quoted related to it are also true.

Does one require the other? As long as you claim both must be true, then neither must be true alone.

Having pointed out the hypocrisy, I would like to point out such hypocrisy is typical around here. All the usual folks use the typical tactics.

But at the moment I am more interested in the practical way we can live unto Christ. Constructing logical truth tables is fun.

I am thinking of how Christians husbands, Christian wives, and Christians in general can enter into all that Ephesians outlines for us believers.

In the end the point I am making actually helps your case.

To try to argue one requires the other gives people an excuse to not hold up their requirement.

Why would it not? Because it makes the man the head of the woman in in an inferior position in the power structure of the family.

You are obviously blind. I am the kind of person who wants to know what the Bible says and if you are going to claim to be a Christian then that is something you should do.

The evil you see is a reflection of yourself.
