@sonship saidI am having a debate with Eladar. It seems to have been triggered by me mentioning a past debate. What's the matter with you? Rape is a serious matter. Enough with your banter.

@eladar saidAre you sure?
A Christian wife would not withhold sex. If a woman does then she is not a Christian. If she claims to be then she is a liar and the truth is not within her.
One of your definitions of "Christian" is a woman follower of Jesus who does "not withhold sex" from her husband? Are you sure?
How many times would this have to happen for her to no longer be a Christian?

I am sure what the Biblical definition of a Christian is. When I talk about Christians understand that I am only using that definition.
By her actions she reveals what is in her heart.
@eladar saidHow long after the rape would "the one doing the raping" not be a Christian if they prayed sincerely for "forgiveness"?
There can only be marital rape if the one withholding sex is not Christian. Of course it would also show the one raping is not Christian.
Does the Christian woman become not-a-Christian the first time she "withholds sex"? If it happens twice? Half a dozen? Ten? When does her being-a-Christian stop?
@eladar saidSo, according to your definition of a Christian wife, she must have sex with her husband even if she doesn't want to, is that right? She is a Christian, doesn't want to, he is a Christian, he wants to. He has sex with her anyway. She lets him do it. They both retain their "Christian" label according to your definition, right?
When I talk about Christians understand that I am only using that definition.
@fmf saidChristians are called to do what they do not want to do. It is part of being a Christian.

@eladar saidPart of being a "Christian" woman is having to have sex against her will sometimes? And even though it's against her will, it's not rape on the part of the husband because he is a Christian, is that the long and short of it according to your definition of "Christian"?
Christians are called to do what they do not want to do. It is part of being a Christian.
@eladar saidSo, if a Christian man rapes his Christian wife, you just remove the label "Christian" from both of them?

@fmf saidAt that moment.
