Could you provide some testimonials of people who have experienced this Unicorn you speak of. I think eight to ten would be good.
( And I can reciprocate concerning the Jesus Christ and the practical local church life I have discovered. About one hundred should do for starters. )

What is a rooted thread?
Im indoctrinated in the teachings of Christ. I thought you liked what Christ said. I only repeat what Christ said without changing it. .. Love Charity and Good Works .. what is your objection to that?
The others you mentioned are indoctrinated in the teachings of men who started religions. JWs - Charles Russell and Sonship - Witness Lee.
I do like stuff that Christ says. Very much so. And it matters not to me as to whether he was real, made up or a conglomerate of people. His words are powerful. But I don't recall Christ saying much negative things - even to unlinkeable , devious characters. So why do some Christians fall for all this negativity by constantly telling us how short of God's grace we fall? We get it already.
And men can be Christ-like if they choose. It is just rare to find people who have real belief, and it is even rarer to find ones who have real belief and a positive, creative direction. Christian or otherwise.
Men and women hold the key for unravelling "God's " mysteries. Scientists. Buddhists. Writers.
I guess I just see you as negative in your approach. I see you make the same mistakes as other posters.
Also I dont believe in any Abrahamic god of any sort. I believe the interpretation of the bible that most people adhere to is a childish, watered-down version of what the bible is actually trying to say. Not to mention some of it seems to have been added by not such divinely inspired ones.

Next and more importantly Christ did not say much negative things? Really ? You need to read the Bible pal. The most critical statements of wrongdoers come from Christ. Christ used words/expressions like hypocrites, liars, generation of vipers, children of the devil, burning in the lake of fire, weeping and nashing of teeth, ravening wolves, den of theives, crooked and perverse generation.
I guess you rather hear sweet positive Bull$hit than to hear the cold hard Truth.

make him out to be but nobody believes me.
Of course more important than that is that he's also imaginary...

I am a realist with a positive outlook. Maybe your cold hard truth should melt into the warm fuzziness of "everymans reality"- where everyone is king and all past dieties are given their due consideration - not just JC.
Seriously. You think I need to read the bible? Why?
I'm sorry if I misunderstood by what you meant by whatever question was "unanswerable", but this thread about hell was such a borefest up until then.
But really, God is love. Lessons to learn. Everyone has potential. Etc. Sounds better than you're all sinners and you all fall short and all you need to do is "know" JC and when you die you'll goto heaven.

I meant to read what Christ said... becuase you seem to think that he was all peace and love and kind words. The sharpest tongue in all of history of what evils will come upon men is from Christ. There is no compassion or remorse or pity when that day arrives when people will have to account for their deeds.

... There is no compassion or remorse or pity when that day arrives when people will have to account for their deeds.
Having a lack of compassion and pity is an attribute of evil, not good...
Also... This idea that "some day in the future, or when we die, we will be judged by god"
is toxic.
God doesn't exist, there is no afterlife or external judging.
The only judging is that which we do ourselves, and we can and should do it everyday.
If someone is doing something wrong and bad you tell them/stop them today...
Not at some indeterminate point in the future...
Your religion encourages people not to act today because they think some great sky bully is
going to act at some point in the future.
It isn't.

Decisions are best made based on reality not fiction.
The reality is your god doesn't exist, there is no afterlife, and there is no external
judgement.
If you make decisions based on the belief that there is a god, an afterlife, and external
judgement... Then you will get at least some of those decisions wrong.

As if you know what Christ was really like and I have no clue. Talk about one dimensionality - rajk's way or the highway.
If I really got into 'heaven' based on my deeds then I have no doubt I'll be one of the first through the gates.
