I have no comments on it. I am not even going to read it. You've just copy pasted some text from a web site right? I'm not interested.
I think you have read it and you have no come back. Suit yourself. I am sure those that are truly honest and sincere will read it and make up their own minds.

As I thought - you wanted me to spend some time doing a bit of thinking of my own and them some writing of my own, especially for you, in reply to some text you found on the internet. Well, no, I spotted what you'd done and so I haven't read it.

You underestimate how little respect I have for you. And yet I have ENOUGH respect not to simply go off and find web sites I agree with and lazily slap a copy paste on threads here, something you have done more times than I can remember.

Maybe somebody else will read what you have posted. Maybe they will comment on it. I am not interested.

People can do whatever they want when they see you copy pasting some text from a web site in the middle of a conversation.

Of course you are too scared to read it because it might foil your conspiracy theory. As I said before, suit yourself. Bury your head in the sand.

You should just read what I am saying to you in my posts if you want to know why I am not going to jump through your hey-respond-to-this-copy-paste-from-the-internet hoop. You don't need to ascribe motivations to me, such as being "scared" or 'insincere' or 'dishonest'. I am telling exactly what I think. Read my posts.

I asked you whether you had comments on text that I referenced that was totally relevant and applicable to our conversation. You are welcome to bury your head in the sand and ignore it. Be my guest.

I believe you have read it and have no come back. If you hadn't read it how would you even know it wasn't my own words? Your intellectual dishonesty is quite evident to see.

I have not read it. I'm not interested, regardless of what it is or isn't.

Saw the link, and I Googled a random 5-6 words in quotation marks. It's just a copy paste. Maybe somebody else will indulge you.

Is Psalms 118:22-24 - whodey cited it - one of those 300?

I think you have read all of it and you have no come back. People can decide for themselves. I have given you copy and pastes that were referenced before that you have responded to in the past. Your suddenly inability to respond because it was copy and pasted is quite amusing.

Exactly. You have copy-pasted before. And yes I have responded in the past. And what happened then ~ after I spent 10-15 minutes writing responses ~ what would almost invariably be your behaviour? That's right: you would totally ignore what I posted. The longer and more considered my response, the more assiduously you would blank it out. Once bitten, twice shy.

You were a Christian for decades. How exactly did you stumble upon this imaginative revelation?
Aside from your counter-question dodge (above), which I answered, what is your take on this little original piece that I wrote especially for you about the human condition and the possible/probable impact of religious fervour and groupism?

Decades of 'chinese whispers' passed on by all manner of people and groups, and sub-groups, all in many respects in competition with each other; dozens of other supposedly 'eye witness accounts' rejected; nothing finalized until literally hundreds of years later, when corporate Christianity had finally finessed its fastidiously assembled text.

I have no doubt that all manner of emotions and elements were in play: earnestness, hysteria, ambition, good-intentions, fervour, imagination, conjecture, melodrama, faulty memory, errors, omissions, assumptions, embellishments, fascination, zealotry, creativity and, yes, most likely deceit as well. Countless people, over many, many years. What's the upshot of 'survival of the fittest' when accounts of magical things are competing for the hearts and minds of potential subscribers?

If it were talking about a different religion than yours would you be prepared to discuss any of the 'psychology' of what I have put to you?

Ah so it's actually just a coincidence that this particular that post you are supposedly refusing to read refutes your conspiracy theory. Whatever you say FMF.
