If you can provide an instance then do so now. He should simply come out as an atheist, that would be more plausible.
I would have thought Dive to be one of the most plausible Christians on here.

-Removed-Can anyone offer up a single paragraph of divegeesters positive affirmation of his Christianity? or shall we be forced to conclude this his Christianity is based solely on the negation of others beliefs? Unless someone can it seems that chaney3 was absolutely correct in his appraisal, divegeesters christianity does not exist and he is infact something else masquerading as a Christian.

As many of you will know I'm anti denominational/organised religion but here are a few other things about me relative to religion and me:
I think I really do believe there is a God and that that God was represented as Christ here on earth. I think I believe this because I'm committed to it. I believe that God is committed to me but I only have the Bible's word for that.
I believe that within this belief construct I have, that the bible is the sole authority on the aspects of God. I'm not sure why I believe this though. I believe I've had experiences with God. Few and far between, but extremely compelling even for a fairly rational chap such as myself. You don't need and won't get details, just take my word for my perspective on that matter, that I believe it, or not, that it happened.
I question my faith a lot, but always find myself unable to put it down. I am somewhat of an island in that I don't mix in organised religion, but I do have fellowship. I despise corporate religion, the manipulation, authoritarianism, pomp, house-groups with tea and pleasantries, the offering plate, TV evangelists, cultism and exclusivity, spiritual snobbery and wishy-washy supercilious mystisism.
Yet I love the Gospel and declare Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.

This thread is not about me its about you and your alleged christianity, do try to keep on topic.
Objectively Robbie, wouldn't you say the above statement is profoundly Christian in nature? Does it contain any negativity?

Not incoherent to anyone who is sober. It simply means you have not given (or able to provide) proof by showing us Biblical references to back up your claims.
Here's the part I'm having trouble with.
RBHILL asks, "Where in [God's] word is eternal suffering left out?".
Dive replies, "Everywhere."
RBHILL means to ask, "Give me one verse (at least) that explains it." - though he spreads this over two posts, and does not avail himself of the edit feature (oh well).
However, RBHILL is the one making a positive claim (there IS mention of eternal suffering in the Bible), and thus should be the one to provide a verse in support of that claim. Dive just implied that he can't, according to his interpretation of scripture, find such a verse, so to ask him for one is silly.
If I've got that wrong, here is your chance to correct me.
