I haven't said that Christians can't be outstanding. But the notion that this happens because of supernatural transformation seems to me to be farfetched.
I'm probably not on this avocational track, but I think it would be cool to be both Christian and outstanding with no-one else the wiser.

Without Jesus in our lives, we are no different; we are simply running around no
different than we ever were, except maybe we have more rules and laws to follow.
We cannot know up from down without a fixed position to look at, and it takes the
Spirit of God to show us, God, we cannot by ourselves learn enough to understand
Him, follow enough rules to make Him clear; it i ...[text shortened]... ail free card; it is that we know Him, love Him
and those around us because that is what love does.

Did you get it?

Did you get it?
They tried to beat it into my head during my formative years, but it didn't stick. Certain aspects of Buddhism are as close to having a religion as I seem able to get.

Well, if you can have it beat into your head and it didn't stick, I'm sure everyone else
will get what is just too.

Well, can you show me how I'm wrong? Just spouting off it isn't true; it isn't true
I'm afraid I have to disagree; that does not prove anything; it only shows me how
you feel about it. There is nothing about an opinion in and of itself that is true or
false; the only thing we can do is voice it and show our reasoning; if you cannot
show me the flaws in my reasoning, how what I'm basing my opinion on is in
error; you are just blowing wind.

So pick a specific thing I am wrong at, and highlight the places I am in error. Simply saying I am wrong and you are right without specifics is simply a joke. Are you a joke dive, can you be specific about my errors, or you just blowing smoke with nothing subsative to validate your stance outside of your feelings and point of view.

Specific, spell it out, write it out with words that can be read and understood, is
that something you can do, or should I just write off your complaint as if it is
nothing but a joke, words without substance.

What I asked of you were specifics; pointing me to a page is not being specific; if
you cannot be specific, there is nothing to be addressed. The only obvious thing
so far is your ability to make charges but your inability to be specific about them.

In your view, does following Jesus mean being a petty forum sniper?

What exactly is your relationship with Christ?
