If Adam's sin was paid for by his death are you hereby abandoning your belief in original sin? Or does God require that sin to be paid for twice? (Like a dodgy plumber).

Sure, (Genesis 2:15-17) Jehovah God took the man and settled him in the garden of Eʹden to cultivate it and to take care of it. 16 Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”
(Genesis 3:19) In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.”
So, Ada paid for his sin with his death!

Don't believe it.

Like everyone else, I have an active life.

I have other things to do.

But, eventually I find time to return.

They can read my posts and their questions will be answered also.

As far as the OP, if Christians believed all sins are automatically forgiven, why do those religions teach hell?

If all sins are forgiven, hell would be empty.

It[s so obvious that not all sins are AUTOMATICALLY FORGIVEN.

Thankfully, Jehovah God hs provided a way through His son Christ Jesus for those who want it to receive forgiveness of sin.

Jesus showed this in his illustration of the sheep and the goats at:
(Matthew 25:31-34) “When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right: ‘Come, you who have been blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world.
Then speaking of the goats:
(Matthew 25:46) These will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones into everlasting life.”
Clearly, not all are receiving forgiveness.

I might engage with you if you can tell me what your statement has to do with what I said.

No, Adam will pay at Judgement, just like the rest of us.

Just dying doesn't get you ANYthing. Anybody can die, and we all do. That's not exactly 'the narrow gate', now is it? Are all forgiven?

Are you perhaps muddling the bible with Lord of the rings?!

Even from an atheist's point of view the bible is beautifully written with a strong moral core. (With admittedly a few inconsistent bumps along the way).
'A' for effort. 🙂

Not exactly sure where you're getting the 'paid' part of the deal here.

You said there is only the death of the body.
