By taking the warning not to receive the mark of the Antichrist to follow the Devil over the cliff into damnation.
"And another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
He also shall drink of the wine of the fury of God, which is mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.
And the smoke of their tormenting goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image and whoever receives the mark of his name. "
Please notice the verse BEFORE this in verses 6,7.
During the great tribulation the angel in the air announces to the earth an eternal gospel about God the Creator. During this time nature will be in upheaval with supernatural calamities warning human beings that divine judgment on the world is on its way.
"And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having AN ETERNAL GOSPEL to announce to those dwelling on the earth, even to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give Him glory because the hour of His judgment has come, and worship Him who has made heaven and earth and the sea and the springs of waters." (Rev. 14:6,7)
This is announced supernaturally from the air to counter act the proclamation of the Antichrist endowed with Satanic miracle working power that he [the antichrist] is the sole god upon whom the world should rely.
Desperate times will call for extreme counter measures.
Upon this backdrop is the warning to those who would not heed the eternal gospel but follow the man Antichrist and his false prophet.

Bearing the OP in mind, how is an atheist to get past the supposed requirement to believe all this ancient mythology which you claim is true?

Tell yourself that a lot more.
"Ancient mythology! Christ is JUST good old ancient mythology."
As Bible prophecy is being fulfilled right under your skeptical nose. LOL.

You know the people who are really not concerned about any of the words of Jesus are not frequenting this Forum to check everyday what Christians might be writing.
The people really nonchalant about anything in the New Testament are off obliviously busy with other things today.
That surely is not Forum regular FMF, hunting every moment day and night to check in on what is being preached by Jesus lovers.

The doctrine is a stumbling block to nonChristian Gentiles. It was not preached by any of the Apostles to the churches.

Who do you think is the Beast and his image? You have any idea? I doubt it. If you dont then how are other people to know who do not know any of this.
Some people say that the Beast is the Catholic church or some Pope in the Catholic church. I think you also subscribe to that view. The image of the beast would be pictures of this beast. The picture of Jesus Christ which is rampant all over the world and which some people do actually worship is a picture of the son of one of the early Popes of the Catholic Church. It is contrary to bible doctrine to have these pictures of Jesus Christ.
So by some accounts all of the Catholic church and whoever is connected by their doctrine and Christians who have pictures of Jesus Christ are worshiping the Beast. Maybe you included.

A lot of what you post seems like Christian preening for the consumption of other Christians. Come on. Address this OP.

I always thought you'd probably end up fighting FMF to be first in line to take his mark when it comes to that.
This is what comes of dissing the church your whole life. You know nothing about it.
