@joe-beyser saidNo offense and I will come back and read this when I have more time.
What you call judging God isn't that at all and it is my fault for not being more clear. Not that I think you care or that I am trying to convince you of something I shall state my heart and mind condition. In my heart God is good, and in my mind God is good regardless of what the bible says. Many believe that God allowed a serpent to sour our relationship with God. Many a ...[text shortened]... that, the bible is much more interesting when approached with true faith as opposed to blind faith.
@pettytalk saidThat opens a bigger door for thought. I have wondered why I would take the Apostle Pauls word any more serious than I would Joseph Smiths. Also the many literary works found in the dead sea scrolls and elsewhere that men have deemed uninspired to some people and not to others. Myself, if church leaders are defending the things in the bible that put God in a bad light, I will pass. What would heaven be like if that stuff is true?
Does anyone have the heart to tell everyone here, with their mind, if they consider as being the word of God, that which is written on every page, every paragraph, every sentence, every line, and every word of the Bible, as it stands approved by past and current church leaders and heads?
@pettytalk saidWhat translations are you referring to, some books are not translated from the original languages you really need to be specific, some translations didn’t have or use texts other’s had. Some texts was looked at in different light than others, unless you can read the original languages your best bet is studying it with several different translations open.

@joe-beyser saidWell without the revelation of scripture, I'm not sure where you get your information about God being either good or bad. Maybe you are looking at something other than the Bible, I suppose that is possible; nonetheless, within the Bible, there is nothing to suggest God is anything other than good, and He is always good just as He is always righteous, and so on.

The nature of God doesn't change due to evil within His creation that started very good, the ability to love with the type of love God is was there we were to reflect that being made in His image, and instead of love that was to be the motivation of all of us in our interactions with God and each other we turned into ourselves. Yet, God didn't leave us or immediately destroy us, instead, He gave us a promise that the seed of the woman would prevail over the seed of the serpent. Years later through Mary, Jesus came into the world.
God is not a mixed bag of good and evil, He is good, our problems are because we are not and don't even grasp the level of evil within us or the majesty of God either, I believe a pastor whose name escapes me called that our double failure. We see the result of evil when our lives are always pointed towards ourselves instead of God, with the list you gave. God's love is always towards the other, always for the best in the other, and without condition, we cannot earn it or work our way up to it. God is the perfect good and love is the best we could have, anything short of that is, well short.
@joe-beyser saidI agree on Paul. He lied, lied, and lied some more. Why he lied is debatable, for our good.

What would heaven be like? It's like here, more or less. We're in heaven now, more or less, but don't know it. I say we, since I'm here too, but I can't say that I don't know it, can I?
Nice to meet you, stranger? We are strangers in paradise.
-Removed-You seem to ask a lot of questions, and often repeat the asking. I'm a new bird in this aviary, and I have a question for you, which you may have already answered, before I was captured and brought here against my will. Still, I'll ask.
Have you ever provided your-honest-to-God, detailed, opinion on the Bible in question? It's not a yes or no question. Please provide references, or state it now, in details, for God's sake, not mine. Take your time, I can wait, although time waits on no one, not even me.
