oh they have the potential, but they need to stop Rogering each other and bring their lives into harmony with Christian principles.
so the only way gays can be christians is if they stop being gays.

what a stupid reply, either demonstrate that they have exhibited a hatred for gays themselves or stop plying your opinion as if it had any relevance to anything in the galaxy. why should gays be above criticism? do i resort to telling everyone your a robophobe every time i get criticised, why should gays have this special immunity to criticism, hmmm?
oh, no, they don't hate the gays. they just don't want them to have the same rights as "normal" people. but no hate.

yes, if they stop Rogering each other and repent, you cannot be a Christian if you will not adopt the teachings of Christianity.

rights??? the can enter a full civil partnership and have every right to do what they like, the same as other people. Not everyone is eligible for marriage and not everyone is eligible to adopt children.

oh ok, then we are in agreement: they will get married (the one every citizen can get at the city hall), then they can get all the rights that married couples get, including adopting children, where being gay will not be taken into account. also we agree that those protesting against gay marriage are homophobic asholes who should mind their own business.

i am glad you finally came to your senses, sparky. i am so proud of you.

no i do not think they should get married, they do not qualify for marriage, marriage is between a man and a woman, male and female, its a nonsense to think that because someone artificially takes on the role of a male or a female in a same sex relationship it makes them eligible for marriage. If people want to roger each other then its their business, but to legitimise it is a nonsense, its not legitimate and its not natural.

sure anyone who criticises them are homophobes, silly hate speech like that is about as stupid as the arguments that its based upon. Gays, the new untouchable ones, dont criticise them or you are a homophobe. Its only a matter of time before gayness is made mandatory! I can see you now zippy, up there on your gay parade! shootin bystanders with ya lazerbeam!

emptiness, the thread is not about Jehovahs witness, if you demonstrated as much grasp of introducing irrelevancies as you did for actually responding to the content of the thread, who knows, you may do much, much, better.
How is my post not relevant to the op?

I show how dumbfounded I am as to your position on gay people. Totally on topic

I was thinking about this and suppose a young 'gay' went to church an told the pastor he was gay... here are 3 answers which do you like best?

A Thats great, we welcome gays in our church, come have a coffee!

B The Bible does say homosexuality is a sin, and promiscuity even more so, a road to hell, be careful, Jesus loves you.

C Get out of my church.

For me i think B is the right answer, if you want A there a great gay support groups for that, B could well save the young man from himself. If you answered C the gay is a sinner but the pastors probably signed his own ticket to hell as with the french prorestors. Can you imagine how a young picked on french gay guy must feel, i hope they go to hell and find the devil waiting with rubber gloves frankly.

But robbies questioning of homosexuality I mostly don't have a problem with, it is sinful in places and gay saunas are std factories best avoided. But there are very decent, and just nice gay folks out there.

With gay marriage robby, gay people can fall in love, its basically asking for the right to buy a puppy, why not? Are you saying they have no feelings?

But actually to go on your side for a moment i really don't approve of 'broodmaring' using a surrogate or donor to add children to a relationship then hiding there existence. I think thats liberalism gone to far and would ban it, But not gay marriage, thats Cruel. Churches can make there own decision regarding what they see as a christian ceremony, yes, no, yes but different all are fine. But a civil ceremony is only fair.

I think it is "Spanky" if my memory is correct. Of course, I have had trouble remembering the exact term myself. Just saying.

What he is saying is that marriage was set up as a covenant between God and a male and female. The male and female are to become one in union with God's purpose for them to be fruitful and multiply. It is not within God's purpose that two males should join together to be fruitful and multiply.

There is no civil right aspect to it at all.

D Perfect - we've kinda got a bromance thing going on with Jesus anyway. There's a fetish ceremony where we all drink his blood like vampires, and we all have "real men love Jesus" bumper stickers on our trucks.

People generally ignore certain rules in their own religion - the ones they find inconvenient. Also, there are varying degrees of traditionalism. My dad, for example, won't attend a church with a female pastor. Not even as a guest speaker for the one day only.

If you criticize all black people you are being racist, if you criticize all gay people you are a homophobe. Thats why I asked whether you had a different definition of homophobe up there in Scotland. I appears you think it requires hate to be a homophobe. It doesn't in my definition.
