Sounded like tha last posting.
Let me have a last posting too:

Robbie, You are not more nor less fundamentalistic than other fundamentalists but you are sounder than others. I respect your views when I'm sure that it comes from within your heart, not wrapped in humour so I cannot rely of what you really mean and what you're trying to joke away.

We don't always agree to everything, sure, but I've always followed your words. You are allowed to have any opinion, as I am, as everyone is. You are even allowed to be a creationist of young earth caliber. But when you start to argue that you are right, and noone else is, then I take my right to criticize your words, your arguments. Not to ridicule you, but to find out what you really mean. Because I know you are intelligent. If you use your retorics properly you can go far.

Now, if these are the final words between you and me, than I wish you good hunting in other threads. I will be more gentle in the future.

thankyou Fabian, I really do appreciate your kindness and encouragement, really i do. These are not the final words between you and I, that could never be, its just I really have no stomach for the cut and thrust any more. no doubt i shall recuperate and we can be sparring partners once again, pistols at dawn etc etc etc, as gentlemen should, but for now, i just need a little rest to lick my wounds as we are want to say, i really do wish you well and thanks for your patience - kind regards Robbie.

Right. Does this mean we have achieved the first unanimous consensus in the history of RHP forums?

Not that I believe this at all, but if god had made us in its image, why does that immediately preclude us from being animals.
Couldn't the image of gd be animalistic?
What part of scripture says this isn't the case?

I think you mean "exclude"

1. Because they don't have human souls and human souls were the only thing that God referred that to.

2. "The image of God" that isn't relevant because we can't see Him and "images" are something how we think of Him, something to see, not really hoe He is.

If you must incorrectly correct people, don't give the same definition for two different words. Also, a prelude (sic) is a build-up or preparation into something bigger, a bit like fore-play.

I sincerely hope that is not your idea of foreplay and just a metaphor.
