no, i am asking you whether you found your non marinated, unseasoned, grilled fish as
tasty as a cream cake. I have dictated nothing to you nor poured scorn on any of your
preferences.

Why did God make them taste so sweet?
The poster probably thinks that God is some kind of butler bringing up a new dish for the taste of the master.
What a presumptuous view ! I know that the poster is an atheist but surely there are limits to what one can say in these matters.
The poster has also constantly described how tasty the beef that he has eaten. From the id and other matter in his posts, the poster appears to be a young Hindu with the first name of Amol. Amol means " the one who cannot be valued at all or is indescribably precious ". Amol, do not be a slave of your tongue so much that you lose all sense of proportion. From an elder Hindu, who means well.
Originally posted by Rajk999The vedas are the first religious teachings on earth, and were here long before the Bible, and they have lots of knowledge and truth, so I think the Bible was influenced by the Vedas a lot and I know sweat meats are used to describe SWEETS in many cultures especially India and Veda was taught in the middle east 2000 years ago as well and all languages are influenced by the Vedic language.
'Sweet meats' is a East Indian expression that has no existance in the Bible. In the Bible 'meat' means the flesh of animals. Peter had a vision in which he was told to 'kill and eat' animals. But it also had another meaning that Peter should accept the Gentiles as part of Gods plan. Both the literal meaning and spiritual meaning are Biblical and correct:
...[text shortened]... ke unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. [/i]
I have talked to someone about this a long time ago and the Bible was referring to sweets when they said sweet meats and they were not talking about meat at all.
I am a vegetarian and gave up meat many years ago and feel better for it, and the Bible should tell people not to kill animals because they have the commandments to instruct them to stop killing and should follow that.
I have been watching TV and it is saying that the treatment of animals overseas is terrible at the abattoirs.

As you've indicated in your post, I'm an atheist. I "presuppose" no such thing.[/b]I would think an atheist would never say, "Why did God make them taste so sweet?"
Logically, "God" wouldn't be in an atheists vocabulary much less as a pseudo topic of discussion.
