What should happen to a cheetah that runs down Bambi the Deer and

Or perhaps the mother was killed by someone driving a car like this
fawn nicknamed "Bambi". Is the driver of the car a murder? Should
the meat of the deer just be allowed to rot? Maybe, it could be used
to feed some poor people. Is that okay?
