In GENESIS 8:20-22 and 9:8-17, GOD, has promised that HE would not ever again destroy all life by a flood of water. As HE has kept all of HIS promises, HE will keep that one as well. HE has promised as well to punish all of mankind for refusing to repent from our sins.
It sounds like Noah needed a lawyer. The covenant bound God only to refrain from destroying the world by a flood, while leaving other means of destruction open to him?

With all these storms battering the US, is this God's way of punishing the US for breaking the ten commandments on so many levels?

And if so, can we expect such storms to reach London anytime soon?
It's not God doing all the damage with the storms. It's Bush. That man is the Devil in a suit. Watch out because he is going to start with the earth quakes soon. God would never be so mean as to send a Hurricane. He just waits and sends the filthy sinners to Hell for all of eternity after they die.

Its. And you probably meant Britain.
blindfaith101 had "it's" correct. It is short for "it is".

"its" is an exceptional case which does not have the possessive inverted comma.

Did notice that he need the word "a" after "it's" though.

Notice where it's headed though . . . Texas.

Now what does that tell you?

(Well, besides nothing exceptional.)

Ever get the feeling God has become a scape goat for our own stupidity.

Let me see, hmmm,

1. There is no global warming.
2. We all live in harmony with eachother.
3. This world can handle an unlimited number of people.

Guess we should all just blame it on God.

I understand a hurricane killed some 6000 in Galveston in 1900.

People who took refuge from Katrina in Texas are having to flee again.

If GOD has chosen this day and time to punish the United States, for it's sin. Rest assured England will be punished as well.

well it was, but christians took it out of the infallible, absolute word of god because they didn't like it.
