These are on topic questions Eladar, here they are again:
1) What biblical evidence do you have that Jesus wanted to prevent people attaining eternal life?
2) Do you take everything writing in the bible literally?
Originally posted by @rbhillNo, so it's not really 'hell' by definition.

Is this literal?
Rev. 14:11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”
Originally posted by @divegeesterI would say literal.

Originally posted by @karoly-aczelIs purgatory on earth like the people in prison?
No, so it's not really 'hell' by definition.
I would say more a purgatory with the chance of 'coming back' . That would be more in line with a loving god.
It could also be argued that some already live in purgatory in this lifetime here on Earth.
Originally posted by @rbhillAre you somehow better than them, and if so how do you justify that biblically?
I would say literal.
Also if hell is not eternal does that mean Hitler and Judas will get out sometime?
Originally posted by @divegeesterNope we are all sinners. So do you think Hitler will get out?
Are you somehow better than them, and if so how do you justify that biblically?
Originally posted by @eladarYes we forgive because we were forgiven completely.

Originally posted by @kellyjayIf we don't?
Yes we forgive because we were forgiven completely.
Originally posted by @eladarWhat happened to the guy who was forgiven much who doesn't forgive little? He was held accountable for his debts.
If we don't?
Originally posted by @kellyjayHe was handed over to torturers until he could repay an unpayable debt.

Originally posted by @eladarYou saying that doesn't make it part of scripture.
