- You are using your "Bible" to defend your case - why cant I? This seems premature. The Bible is all I need to prove any case.
The Bible will always have verses that will try and prop it up, because when something is not true you then have to have verses to support that falsity and the Bible compilers knew this and therefore fabricated many verses to support it.
- So does yours
The Bible teaches falsity and I could mention many false teachings from it.
- And so can I show you many many false teachings in your religion which is causing havoc in the world! Right now.
I keep mentioning meat eating because why discuss all the other falsities of the Bible if persons cannot understand that killing is wrong.
What's the point of me bringing up all the other falsities when no one is honest enough to admit that killing is something religious persons do not do.
- True, killing is wrong. Tell that to a lion and ask him to not kill another animal for food. Better yet, tell him to become a vegetarian. I know I am sarcastic here but you're not looking at this from the right angle. We are on top of the food chain and the human race literally eats anything that can be eaten.
The Vedas are eternal and the Bible is not eternal but has been recently created by materialistic unqualified persons.
The Vedas (Sanskrit वेद véda, "knowledge"😉 are a large body of texts originating in ancient India. Composed in Vedic Sanskrit, the texts constitute the oldest layer of Sanskrit literature and the oldest scriptures of Hinduism.
This was about all I could get regarding your assumption here. No where can I find a thing that tells me the Vedas is the oldest scriptures before any other religion.
Moses was not talking to God as the Bible depicts because the conversations between the Lord and Moses are completely mundane and ridiculous and anyone can see that they are fabricated by unscrupulous men.
- Were you there?
The Bible is one book and the Vedas are thousands of books and if any doctrine were to explain religion then one book is surely insufficient.
- WRONG!
How can an eternal infinite God be explained in one book.....it cannot be done.
- Finally we agree on something 😀
The reason why Christians kill and eat the rotting flesh of animals is because their Bible has no knowledge of the eternal soul and therefore think that animals have no souls ........but this is false because every living thing has a soul or otherwise it would not be alive.
- You do not understand Biblical teachings thus why I understand your comment - but it is false (your comment)
Christianity is devoid of true knowledge because it has been fabricated by mundane unauthorized academic persons who have no spiritual realization.
- One good example is Darwin right? But he was not a christian. Once again this is your own opinion.
The soul cannot be destroyed because it is spiritual energy and is indestructible and therefore eternal just like God.
- Another thing we can agree on 😀
To defend animal slaughter is to be a dishonest person and any religion that also defends it is false.............you know this.
- Killing for fun is wrong. Killing a chicken to feed your kids has no wrong in it.
It is sadly ironic that the Christian doctrine is actually the anti Christ............because it doesn't support true religion but destroys it by misguiding the entire human race.
- Thus is funny. How can a something be its anti- something? This doesn't make any sense. Your argument is no where near a valid answer.
And it does this when the little children at Sunday school are taught that God likes you to slaughter animals.............this is disgraceful and it is child abuse.
- No. Maybe where you come from the Sunday School teaches stuff like that. Maybe you should rather look at the person giving the lecture. There are many people not fit for this type of job and trust me I will not let my child sit in such a lecture.
Dasa, it is clear you have no understanding of any other religion except of your own. I have limited knowledge of other religions - but enough to know what I am talking about in my own religion (Christianity). We are all in a debate of who's religion is the true religion and this will never end up until the end of the world. Then we shall all know who was right and wrong. It will then be too late for some to change their mind.
Give your life to God, seek His will and be still to listen.

There are thousands of books written about the Holy Bible. There may be
even millions of books, pamphlets, and magazine articles in print for there
are too many for me to count.

Indian women have a red dot to show they are married much the same as western women wear a ring....shortened....
nor do you know the significance of the red dot worn by Indian women.
Actually, in some states in India, the red dot (called Bindi) is also applied by Indian men after their morning puja (devotion/prayer). The red dot is actually a vermillion powder. Nowadays, Indian women use stickers instead of the powder.
In other states, both men and women use a yellow powder/paste made from sandalwood (a fragrant soft wood) after their morning prayer. Still in other places, they use a grey powder made from the ash of incense sticks used in the morning prayer.
The most sacred / important symbol of marriage is not the red dot but the necklace/(called the mangalsutra/thali) which the man ties around the woman's neck during the marriage ceremony. Then the husband applies vermillion powder on his wife's forehead just at the hair-parting, not between the eyebrows.
In other states in India, the husband gives his wife toe-rings / anklets as well. They also exchange rings to wear on their fingers (not always on the left fourth finger but sometimes just as they do in the west).

You will never give up your religion because you will never give up your materialistic life style and this is why you defend animal slaughter.
Being dishonest will always have the person choose wrongly.
True religion will never pamper to the materialistic needs of people but instead present the truth of spirituality without compromise.
The teachings of the Veda are eternal without beginning because they are authored by the Lord and are without fault or error.
On the other hand false religion is authored by superstitious men of questionable character and have been compiled in recent times, and this is why they teach falsity.
You know this.

-Removed-God is one and religion is one.
God has infinite names because everything about God is eternal and infinite.
This is why the belief that God has one begotten son is false.
You are asking me for a name of my Lord to have reason to create some confict where there is no conflict.
When you have become honest and give up the false teaching that killing is a spiritual activity, then you may ask who is my Lord.

Originally posted by RJHindsIf I may correct you, there are only 4 Vedas i) Rig Ved ii) Sama Ved iii)Yajur Ved iv ) Atharv Ved. But if a Hindu is called to to state what is the religious book he swears by,it is only one book,Bhagavad Geeta or simply Geeta-the celestial song. This single book is the essence of Hindu Spiritualism. In courts in India the Hindu witnesses often swear by the Geeta, before giving their testimony.
