@ghost-of-a-duke saidI think we see God's plan in Jesus' prayer in John 17
@sonship said
The eternal plan of God is that God would be SEEN in that God would be (if you will) WE-IZED. God would mass produce the mingling of humanity and divinity of the Firstborn Son of God.
Do other Christians recognize the above as God's eternal plan, as laid out in scripture? Or has sonship completely lost the plot?
“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
@kellyjay saidSo your answer is no, you do not recognize sonship's eternal plan, that God wanted to mass produce the mingling of humanity and divinity of the Firstborn Son of God?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI think God is raising humanity to be His sons and daughters, a royal priesthood. I have no idea what sonship's plan is. Christ in us our hope for glory means we are partakers in God's nature. That isn't something we can get good enough for; it has to be a gift from God. We cannot think our way into God's favor; we cannot give enough stuff to get into God's favor, we cannot do enough good works to get into God's favor, it has be God's grace and mercy, which is much better, He is a sure foundation there is nothing in this we can trust as we can Him.

Colossians 1:27
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
@kellyjay saidI told you what sonship's plan was in the OP and asked if you agreed with it. I didn't ask what your plan was.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI will read this from the beginning.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidA pair of what?
All that is required is for you to read the first (short) post, grow a pair, and share your view on what sonship has said he believes.
I was going to post that I was glad to see you posting again, but now I'm feeling rather disappointed.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou can stick your attitude in your ear. I said I would read this. Your interpretation and what he is saying may not be the same thing.

@kellyjay saidI didn't give an interpretation. I quoted exactly what he had written and asked if people agreed with it. True to form you dodge. If Rajk had posted such nonsense you'd be all over it.
