    job describing reality?

Job 26:8 "He wraps up the waters in His clouds, And the cloud does not burst under them.

yessir. clouds are balloons that hold water.

job 26:10 "He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters At the boundary of light and darkness.

yep. job thinks the earth is a flat dish.

Job 26:11 "The pillars of heaven tremble And are amazed at His rebuke.

love them pillars. you can see them on a clear day.

Yes, clouds do hold water. Ask any weatherman where does the rain come from?

The circle is not around the waters but on the waters so you see the light
from the sun as it appears on one side in the morning and the darness of
the night after the sun moves across the circular path on the surface of the
waters until it disappears on the others side. Job is discribing what happens
every day. You are just too stubborn to acknowledge that the Holy Bible
    could be right.

I don't think Job is talking about a clear day in Job 26:11, but a stormy day
with lightning and thunder. Look at it again in context Verses 7-14 NKJV.

    "He stretches out the north over empty space;
He hangs the earth on nothing.
He binds up the water in His thick clouds,
Yet the clouds are not broken under it.
He covers the face of His throne,
And spreads His cloud over it.
He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters,
At the boundary of light and darkness.
    The pillars of heaven tremble,
And are astonished at His rebuke.
He stirs up the sea with His power,
And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.
    By His Spirit He adorned the heavens;
His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways,
And how small a whisper we hear of Him!
But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

P.S. When a storm comes up the waters in the sea are stirred up.
You probably had difficulty in understanding poetry in school, too.

ah good, it's poetry. not science. glad you at least understand that now. next time, don't try to push allegorical poetry as science.

Anything can be expressed in a poetic form, even science. 😏

yes hard to see how Job could have known these elementary scientific truths without
inspiration, i agree. Has it never occurred to you that pillars may be a metaphor for
something else? try to free your mind from mere pedantry and engage your
imagination, its not very difficult all you have to do is make room for the supernatural
and all things become possible. Those who have limited their search for truth to
unintelligent agencies reflect the very stance they advocate, a rather unimaginative
approach which cannot discern anything other than that which is literal and/or
material. Its not only spiritually myopic, its spiritually autistic.
