Yes, in terms of being "deluded" as in believing something that is not true.

When he doubts his faith, he entertains the thought that his beliefs may pertain to things that are not true: i.e. delusions.

It's not "delusional" from the point of view of a psychiatrist, although he equates me thinking that your beliefs in the supernatural are delusions with me questioning your sanity for some reason.

I think you are incorrect to believe such things. I think it is born from a desire to have answers to all the big questions of where we came from, to make the world a less scary place. I don't think delusional is helpful in this context, though other atheists may consider you as being self deluded. Faith, I think, has to be factored into the equation.
