Yes, perhaps a lack of reference point attracts all things unusual, "spiritual" in that they seem out of the ordinary mundaneness of life.

The word I meant to use was "flightheaded" meaning a kind of zany and wild imagination, as in flights of fancy.

Then a lot of politics finds its way over on the Spirituality Forum as well because of reactions against and affirmations to the Religious Right.
