But only an hour and a half ago you yourself said "It does not matter what is written in the Gospels, people can claim it means anything ... The words mean nothing..." You are on disarray.
Exactly, it is the spirit within you that matters. The words themself are meaningless.

Are you really this dense?

And apparently, this "spirit within you" need not have anything to do with Jesus Christ. You have already said you don't know if you are a Christian. And now the Gospels are meaningless too. Why do you quote "meaningless" words on this forum?

What evidence is there that "the spirit" is "within you"?

Your religious beliefs clearly involve the rejection of Christ as he is defined in Christianity. Why have you spent years here self-identifying as a Christian if you believe the words of the Holy Bible are meaningless?

Do you believe the Sermon On The Mount is meaningless gibberish?

The question is, if you were to time travel back to the old testament times, would you believe the killing of homosexuals is evil.
According to you, at what point in history did executing homosexuals become "evil"?

Do you believe that Jesus was crucified and died in order to offer the forgiveness of sins and the opportunity for "salvation"?

When did God tell you executing homosexuals is "evil"?
