Thru my GM I heard my moms voice,( they didn't actually sound alike) thru my GM my mom spoke to me about events in my life that no one knew about, but me. Definately. I am a very careful person, and I am quite sure my GM would have had no way of knowing these things.when my mom discussed these events with me thru my GM, I knew that she had been watching over my life after her death, thus proving to me at least that the spirit survives...

i don't know if it much matters, and I don't know if our concepts of heaven or hell are accurate, but I feel firmly convinced that my mother was sentient beyond her earthly life. I have not heard from her since. That was almost 7 years ago. For the record she was raised methodist, and converted to catholicism at age 12. She was always a somewhat "spiritual" person.

I'd back off that thinking that God allowed the spirit of a dead
person to enter another, that smakes more of the demonic

to mislead you, it was useful information if it was a demon bent
on misleading you. Your point was you believed it to be your mom
enough to not question it, and my point is how do you know? I know
what you want to believe, but that does not make it true or untrue,
it only makes it what you want to believe.
You say you do not believe in demonic spirits, yet you do believe
that your mom had the ability to come back from where ever the
dead go to converse with you. Either way you are placing your
faith in the supernatural, and without out a doubt if what you are
saying is true, some spirit knew something.
As far as what the spirit world wants, again you are assuming
knowledge, that evil spirits would not want to **** any of us over.
Do your beliefs about the dead, spirits, demons, and so on have
a foundation outside of your desire for something to be true?
I'm asking do you get these beiefs from a source like the Bible,
or some other document or person?

As I said, its my belief, it matters not to me if anyone else believes it.
I agree with Kelly. If a person is a Christian and had an experience that would shake his/her faith, I would question what kind of Christian are you?
There are so many naive Xtians out there, that have no understanding of demonic spirits, how they operate, and are powerless against them.
When I see Xtians that don't even manifest the spirit, ie. speak in tongues, operate word of knowledge, etc. is it any wonder they are attacked and deceived? Demons can make an unbeliever "experience" anything they want in the mind.
Demons have been around from old. They know you, your parents, grandparents, and right down the line. They can impersonate their voice, they know facts that only you and a loved one would know. They know what you whispered to your girlfriend in her ear when you were 14!
If only more Christians would rise up and take charge of what God has already given them through Christ Jesus.
Instead what we have are weak and anemic Xtians that get hurt and then blame God, who is holy, and all good.

It could have been you GM just wanting to smooth over you hurt,
it could have been your mother doing exactly what you think occured,
and it could have been another spirit.
How do you know?
All three of those possibilities could have given you the same results.
The only differences are, one your GM knew things you were not aware
of, two your mother did what you said, or three you and your GM are
both being used by spiritual forces quite adept at deceit and
manipulation of the human race.
