I am simply saying that we do not know enough about the universe and light to know how long it takes light from distant stars to get to us. We are all guessing at this point in time.

You are the one guessing. "I guess that light older than 6000 years cannot exist, because the bible is truth." Guessing is the word.

    Knowing is another thing.

How can you tell? You don't understand anything in the subject.

Intuition - the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

Countless times both the macro universe and micro universe have shown to
be counter-intuitive. Intuition (at best) just "works" at our human
level - it is an animal survival instinct. Intuition does not tell us anything
    new or interesting.

Conscious reasoning however is what puts food on your plate.

And intuition informs you to eat it or not.

You don't have intuition, you have outuition. You just say the same thing over and over, a one trick pony but evidence changes and so we will also. You are incapable of change, we can change. That is the bottom line.

1000 cows produce 10 million gallons of manure per year 90% of it is water once treated 50% of it becomes drinkable 40% becomes fertilizer(just thought this was far more interesting than the bulldust you keep spewing forth.

For your information man has never created matter from light. Nor will man become God. That is bulldust, as you call it.

Intuition is something that has to be trained. It improves with experience, someone with formal training in a subject develops intuition so that, as an example, they are able to intuit the problem with a statement rather than having to calculate or use some other formal technique. In physics it is well known that provided any conservation laws are not violated an electron positron pair can be created from a sufficiently high energy photon, provided there is a nearby charge to dump some momentum into. The energy before and after, the charge, spin and some other quantum numbers are what has to be conserved. What cannot be created ex nihilo, at least by human agency, is energy, charge, spin.

Also even highly developed intuitions are occasionally fallible.
