Perhaps in Iran. But it is not so in Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. So it is not so in Islam as a whole.

And you think you know about Islam. You think you know Muslims. If this is what they're telling you, they're not Muslims. I require proof. Names, events, legal records, etc.

I dont go around the forums begging people to respect Christianity or condemning those who dont. I never started a thread naming anyone and condemning them directly like Scherzo did. I dont hate muslims at all. I have many muslim friends and believe me muslim women are really nice. I think the Islamic culture have made them great companions. I dislike and will continue to condemn (in the stongest language tolerated by this site) acts of violence and intolerance by any religion. Those who indirectly support it by sweeping under the carpet are part of the problem.

and see for yourself the amount of problems muslim women have all over the world with husbands divorcing them without justification. In most countries the courts impose a 1 to 3 year period of separation before granting final divorce. The idea is to give the marriage every chance to work. Not in Islam.

That's true. That's because most people on this forum have no need to condemn those who despise all Christians because almost no one does. Islam, on the other hand, is constantly vilified.

Surah 4:34. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance): for Allah is Most High, Great (above you all).
