@kellyjay saidIt's odd that you would think [or pretend to think?] that two people who firmly believe in Jesus/"salvation" [you and divegeester] would have the same kind of conversation about Jesus/"salvation" as you and me [a theist and an atheist].
Please, I didn't notice you giving the same lecture to fmf when he talked about no
one has a relationship with Christ; in reality, telling everyone what they had was false.
It's as if you are someone fleeing down an alleyway and turning over a trash can to hamper the people you are running away from.
@fmf saidI take you at your word when you say you believe it is all in our heads, so everything about your faith in your whole life was always that as you acknowledge now. I am not calling you mistaken, or you a liar, but you are saying anyone who claims a relationship with Jesus Christ is mistaken or something else other than that. So between the two of us, you not me, is making a claim that the others truth claim about Christ is in error. I find it odd both of you see me as doing that when it is you.

@fmf saidI have been telling you Christianity requires Christ! You can makeup whatever definition you like for being a Christian and make any claim you want about it! You are the one between us that is saying no one has a real relationship with Jesus not me! I am taking you at your word! When you say no one can really have a real relationship that includes you in your past!
My faith was not "fake".

@kellyjay saidThe "relationship with Jesus Christ" is a matter of cognition and not something supernatural. The "relationship with Jesus Christ" manifests itself in inspiration and solace and motivation and consolation and a sense of order and purpose.
I am not calling you mistaken, or you a liar, but you are saying anyone who claims a relationship with Jesus Christ is mistaken or something else other than that.
-Removed-He says now that it is all between our ears, that is all it could be; he figured it out,
which applies to his past. If it was only between his ears, he didn't have a
relationship with Jesus Christ; he only thought he did. He claims he has figured it
out; it is an objective truth as far as he is concerned, so if Christianity requires Christ,
he never had that; instead, he had thoughts about it according to him; I'm only
taking his word for it. If he and you want to define Christianity as nothing but
something between the ears by that definition, name it and claim it alters reality
to suit you. Reality, however, doesn't work that way.
