Jesus was born with Original Sin and was purified of that by John the Baptist. Call it a miracle or divine intervention if you want. Contrary to most if not all other people, Jesus never actively sinned. So Jesus was not born without sin, but never sinned.

Sometimes it takes an outsider to point out the obvious.
I am not so inclined to believe your statement "Jesus was born with Original Sin". Sin is passed down through the father, and Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. To imply that Jesus was born with sin is to make the Holy Spirit out to be sinful. No?

Unless of course you refute the Holy Spirit's role in Jesus' conception, then the point is moot. IMO

Yet another statement you will not find in the Bible....
Sin is passed down through the father,
Please provide a quote thanks.
You are full of it. Doctrines of churches, created by churches but which does not exist in the Bible...

Where did I make a statement and say it was in the bible? You embellish and make stuff up!

If I believed you actually cared about my thoughts on this and why, I would spend some time formulating a response and provide some scriptures that I think support it. But because I know you don't care and anything I respond with would only be met ridicule, I will pass, thanks anyways.

You stated that, 'Sin is passed down through the father, and Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit.'

If this is not scripturally supported, then where is it supported?

Im happy to discuss doctrine where you can show me it in the Bible. Anything else is your opinion and a waste of my time. I would not insult you by proclaiming opinions about the Bible and expect you to believe me. Without exception I provide quotes so that you can see why I believe what I believe.

People with your attitude that like to promote opinions as Bible doctrines are an insult to true followers of Christ.

There are many scriptures that speak of the sin passing through the fathers, you only need to look it up. As for Jesus being conceived by the Holy Spirit...

Matthew 1:18
King James Version (KJV)

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Man had no part in Jesus conception, surely you have heard this before?

Jesus was sinless through and through, don't let anyone tell you different.

Is that it? You are a disgrace to name 'Christian'. People like you should shut up and only speak when you are spoken to.instead of making yourself look like a fool.

Christians are diverse. They have different interpretations of what the Bible says and means. All the Christians here at RHP, including people like you and Suzianne and sonship and divegeester and Rajk999 and galveston75 (for example), each have - and believe in - their own understanding of what the Bible says.
You missed the point. It doesn't matter what any particular individual's interpretation is. What matters is what God says.

Right is right, and wrong is wrong, and who's to say who's right or wrong? God says.

It's all quite clearly spelled out in God's Word. Even GoaD can see that.

No I didn't miss the point at all. Different Christians have different interpretations about 'what god says'.

If the BIble never says something and you continue to proclaim it then your doctrine is manmade and quite likely false.

Jesus was without sin. That is the statement from the Bible.
Jesus was born without sin ... NOT IN THE BIBLE.

People like you, josephw and several ...[text shortened]... ndant of Adam and also that all descendants of Adam have inherited the curse of the sin of Adam.
"The Bible says that Jesus was a descendant of Adam and also that all descendants of Adam have inherited the curse of the sin of Adam."

Quit beating around the bush. What you're inferring is that Jesus inherited sin from Adam. If so, then you are a blasphemer.

Jesus didn't have a human father. Or didn't you know that?

There is absolutely no scriptural evidence to support that assertion.

You're lying.

Actually, people wrote the bible. Have you heard the gods speak?

Jesus had a human mother or didn't you know that?

Plus you are missing more than a few screws. You said Jesus was born without sin and so far you have produced no scriptural evidence to support that. All we get from you is nonsense talk, opinions and accusations that everyone is lying.
