The "curse and sin brought a lot of death" to the ants?
“Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise” (Prov 6:6)

It is to such a wise ant that God designed a fungas to burst from its head. (Apparently). - Perhaps the first ant, in the garden of Eden, also ate from the apple?

The whole earth and every living creature was affected by the fall. Look at how the earth is described after restoration, the lion and lamb are no longer at odds. We drug this whole place down with us when we fell. Evolution has death as part of the process not good or bad.

You believe ants were victims of Adam's "sin"?

I'm pagan, Kelly.

Kelly. You are missing all the many other ways that humans process their spiritual yearnings. Your view has no more factual basis than, say, Zeus. Or Shiva. It is like you don't understand what faith belief means.

It is not how we do anything but how God wants it. What does it matter if we can do something that doesn't make a difference between us and God?

DG's question is pointless. When he framed it in a false dichotomy it made it even more pointless. Hounding C3 about it makes it all the more pointless still.

That said, DG is being a jerk.

How exactly does hounding C3 mercilessly about whether or not he considers himself to be a Christian "lend him an hand in life" or help how well C3 "fares here on this forum"?

How exactly does calling DG on his bs, serves as an impediment to how well C3 "fares here on this forum" or "in life"?

Evidently you still haven't managed to wrap your mind around the fact that an individual may not feel that he has enough non-conflicting information on which to base a determination of whether or not he's a Christian. That and the fact that the individual is in a much better position to make that determination than you are.

Evidently you intend to keep being a jerk and keep hounding C3 mercilessly about whether or not he considers himself to be a Christian.

C3 should just write you off for the clueless jerk that you are.

Then it's a good thing that religion doesn't actually "oppose scientific understanding".
