The Bible says not to say things as though they were and that God is patient with you.
How patient?
How long will he continue to make me flounder as I draw nearer to hell.

Man, if I goto hell, I'm going to blame god. He just hasn't resonated with me anywhere near as stronlgy as Bhudda or the Zen and Sufi masters-for a start.

Jesus seems alright, but he must be shuddering as to whats being perpetrated in his name.

How long must you wait you say?
Well 150,000 people go into eternity in a day and that is almost 55 million a year.

With regards to the rapture, and disregarding predictions dated in the past, I'm going to stick with Sir Isaac Newton's figures. What should I pack?

2011 - Harold Camping's revised prediction has May 21, 2011 as the date of the rapture. (Not much time to paln my apocalypse party).

2060 - Sir Isaac Newton proposed, based upon his calculations using figures from the book of Daniel, that the Apocalypse could happen no earlier than 2060.

How much money do you think this Harold Camping character is going to make off this scam?

But if you make me chose one it would be 4.
Ah, that's interesting. So the Muslims disappearing can't a 'rapture' type event because they have not been promised such a thing.

Just say, hypothetically, that you were aware of another group of people (non-Christians) who had a similar salvation type myth. I'm sure there are lot of such cults. If all of the members of one of those groups, very publicly, at the moment they said they would, disappeared in a 'supernatural' manner, exactly as they themselves predict in their 'rapture' myth, would you then start to wonder?

I probably would.

So do those 150 000 all go to eternal "heaven"? or are some of those going to eternal hell?
Is that just "souls" from this planet?

I don't think it is fixed.

Jesus says taht the road to eternal life is narrrow and few find it.

I would say all children who die would go to heaven. so about 10% of deaths are children, and the other 5% are True Believers not counting false converts in the church.

This seems grossly unfair. And shouldn't we kill all the children for their own benefit?
