Christ is my perfect righteousness for eternal redemption and eternal life.
My history is Christ.
It is no longer my record of sins. God looks upon my past record and sees only His perfect Son - Christ.

However, as Jehovah God PASSED OVER those who were inside the house where the blood of that paschal lamb was smeared on the doorpost and lentil, so Christ is the Christians' Passover Lamb.
In fact Christ is the Christians' entire Passover.
When the destroying angel came he did not look inside of the house to see who was in there. He did not consider how good they were or how bad they were.
God said "When I see the blood I will pass over you"
In the same way, in relation to eternal redemption, in relation to eternal justification for eternal life God's judgment has PASSED OVER those who are in Christ Jesus.
This is concerning the assurance of positional and judicial justification. The matter of sanctification and conformity to the image of Christ in character is another aspect of salvation.

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”
(John 3:3-9 NKJV)
Rajk999.. and I asked him .."Jaywill can you move like the wind?"
Just like Nicodemus you are continuing to ask from the point of view of the natural man.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)
Jesus was giving an analogy between how the wind works and how the Holy Spirit works. Jesus did not mean that everyone that is born again will be moving around like the wind. You are thinking in a similar way as Nicodemus when he thought Jesus was saying one had to enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born.
Jesus meant that the Holy Spirit works in regeneration (rebirth) similar to the wind in that the Holy Spirit sends His influences where, and when, on whom, and in what measure and degree, He pleases. You will not be able to see Him in the regenerating process, but the effects will be seen in the individual who is being regenerated spiritually. So Jesus is saying this is the way it happens "to every one who is born of the Spirit."
for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
(1 Corinthians 12:11 NKJV)
The Holy Spirit works how, and where, and when he pleases, including the donation of His gifts to men, for different purposes in a similar way as the wind.
These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(1 Corinthians 2:13-14 NKJV)
"So is every one that is born of the Spirit." -- a mystery to the natural man.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
(1 Corinthians 1:18 NKJV)

1. This foolishness about Holy Spirit gifts are 99.9% lies and deceit propagated by some churches in order to gain new followers = more money in their greedy pockets. There are suckers born every minute who are so needy that they want to hear that their pastor has the power to heal them or help them make money etc. Its a circle of greed and selfishness. I know many people in some of these churches and the smart ones laugh at the hypocrisy of the whole thing. The gospel of Christ is a cash register for these fools and you and many others here appear to be willing brainless sycophants sucked in because of your lack of understanding.
2. Here is one verse that will put an end to your crooked doctrine.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
A fleshly being has flesh and blood and a spirit is like the wind as Christ clearly said. The only time that anyone is born of the spirit is at the return of Christ and that is when the regeneration takes place.
Mat_19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
The regeneration takes place when Christ returns to sit on his throne. So all of peoples claims that they are regenerated or they are born of the Spirit is plain BS. There may be a few the 01% who have special Holy Spirit gifts.
Holy Spirit gifts and Born of the Spirit are two separate and distinct matters.

Christ is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). And for you to say Christ being the Lamb of God has nothing to do with the Passover Lamb of Exodus in regards to salvation is astoundingly ignorant.
"Purge out the old leaven that you may be a new lump; even as you are unleavened; for our Passover, Christ, also has been sacrificed." (1 Cor. 5:7b)
There is nothing you can teach anyone about the New Testament.
You are totally unreliable and getting more blind as the years go by.
Originally posted by Rajk999In Matthew 19:28, notice that a comma is placed after me because there is a completion of a thought concenring those that have followed Christ. Then Christ goes on to talk about the regeneration or restoration of all things in His future Kingdom as is also mentioned in Acts 3:21. This by no means indicates that the Holy Spirit is not working on the renewing and regeneration of the dead in sin spirit in believers now, as we wait the final regeneration and redemption of the body, as is pointed out in the following scripture passages.

Holy Spirit gifts and Born of the Spirit are two separate and distinct matters.
For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Titus 3:3-7 NKJV)
Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

I couldn't disagree with this statement more fully. John 3:16 ... doesn't say that whoever believes in me, plus does some good works, will have eternal life. Christ died for our sins. He is the sacrifice. He paid for our sins in full. To suggest that we can add to that by our own works cheapens what He did for us ... and raises us to a level equal with Him. That our actions carry as much weight as does His. A level none of us has ever deserved to be placed.
oops ... thought when I replied it would go under the comment ... I mistake I won't do again. Probably. 🙂 Here's the comment from rajk999 I was responding to:Yes God REQUIRES. That means its not optional .. it is compulsory for anyone aiming for eternal life. How many times did Christ have to say that good works is absolutely necessary... too many to mention. Here is one from the OT :
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Mic 6:7-8)
Same sentiment. God is not impressed with the outward manifestations of peoples alleged faith .. burnt offerings, meetings, prayers, fasting etc. Faith has to be proven with tangible evidence of righteousness and good works in the form of love and charity and mercy
