The Theory of the Rapture has many Christians giddy of escaping the world before the tribulation.
In the scripture it states, "two people will be in the field, and one will be taken up" .
Whether you believe this or not, isn't what this post is about. My question is what are Christians doing to prepare the other half. The scripture never says, that the other person is not a believer to. Any church that is hog wild on the rapture, thinks they are All going. But that is not what scripture says.
So what are the churches doing to prepare those who are not going?

The gospel, the good news puts them in the same place we were when confronted with a
choice one each of us will make on our own.
Repent and turn towards God or not.

We should never look at those who do not agree with us as our enemy. God's love reaches to all, not just the Christians. Sonship is playing with fire himself in thinking this way. Scripture states "do not judge lest you be judged"

You're a terrible liar.
Produce the QUOTATION that forms the basis of this accusation.
Didn't you know that you should not bear false witness?

In Christian theology it has become the word to mean the sudden snatching away by Christ, of believers in Christ.
Now, joy in Christ is something we Christian should be able to practice. And we should also be able to experience being carried away from temptations, sins, failings, and other shortcoming of the fallen man, by turning our hearts to Christ within.
I submit that being snatched away by Jesus is something the Christian has a chance to experience just about daily. If we are not physically caught away, we certainly can enjoy being spiritually caught away from many things, by the Holy Spirit.
We should practice then allowing Jesus Christ to fill us with joy and catch us away from matters the seek to cause us to live as fallen sons of Adam. Then because we have daily experienced Jesus catching us away in a happiness of enjoying Him, in the day of the physical rapture, we have had practice and it will come normally.
My thread on Calling Lord, Lord is one way to practice allowing the joy in Christ to "rapture" the believer away on a daily basis. Check it out.

"Actually, the teaching of God's terrible final calling of all people to an account of some kind helps me greatly in the matter of forgiving my enemies and those who mistreat me. The idea of the awefulness of God's judgment when negative, carries a great benefit to my present day Christian walk."
As I've said may times; you have some strange beliefs.

'This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you and of the one you sent forth, Jesus Christ'. - John 17:3
Paul makes the very powerful argument, '“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
and then goes on to reason, 'How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
It appears to me therefore that its incumbent upon very Christian to be involved in a work of Bible education, spending time helping others to come to an accurate knowledge of Bible truth.
