Well by your reckoning, God's "worst enemy" is still strolling around causing trouble, and basically just p!ssing him off at every turn as evil humans like me follow his ways (believing in evolution and such...) and fail to pay due respect to your supposed god and his scriptures.
Now either he is
a) Happy to let his "worst enemy" spoil all his handywork (his special creations: humans) which begs the question as to how there could possibly be any virtue in his motives. Or he's:
b) Incapable of 'taking care' of him (inspite of being all poweful whilst Satan supposedly isn't).

Neither make a great deal of sense given your god's supposed attributes of onipotence & omnibenevolence.

I assume then that omnipotent "God" is incapable of dealing with his arch enemy: the not so omnipotent Satan.[/b]
It is my understanding that Lucifer was the greatest created being
by God. Lucifer became very prideful and arrogant and wanted to
take the place of God. He was able to convince a third of God's
angels to follow him. This rebellion resulted in him and the angels
that followed him being kicked out of the third heaven where God
dwells. Lucifer is now called "Satan" or "the devil". But God is more
intelligent than "Satan" since God created him. I do not know for sure
if God is omnipotent; but I believe He is the closes to it if not. And
I believe God will win over "Satan" and save all people who acknowledge
Him as the creator and put their faith in the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit.

Sounds like something straight out of a comic book.
If god is as intelligent and as powerful as he is supposed then Satan, the nuisance thorn in its side, wouldn't be around for so long to cause any calamity anyway. That is unless...Satan has a secret drawer full of God_kryptonite or something! 🙄

The story of Satan is perpetuated to keep the likes of you in fear and dissuade you from daring to think rationally. ;]

Without knowing why God has allowed Satan to live and what's at stake I'm sure it doesn't make much sense to you. If you did know why, then maybe.

and I assume you *do* know why!? Indeed, nobody has ever given me a satisfactory answer to this old chestnut.

Yes...but I have a feeling I'd be waisting my time explaining it to you. Right?

Tell you what....I'm in the middle of watching the Dallas game so I'll post my answer later tonight or first thing in the morning. But make this worth my time.

I'll spare you the hopeless anticipation you might convert me by telling you here and now I'd need to fall from a height of at least ten storeys and land on my head before I'd take the idea seriously; but give it your best shot anyway (in the hopes of convincing someone else, and at least gracing the story with a glimmer of coherency).

You are right. You would be wasting your time unless you
don't have anything to do right now. If it was me, I would
not bother because it is too complicated to explain to a
person who knows so little about the Holy Bible. They
think it is fairy tales at best.

If evolution is not correct, it must be a lie, and its origin must be from the deceiver. If it misleads people into damnation, then the Devil's work is done.

So when you lie, the lie must come from 'the deceiver'? People cannot lie all by themselves?

Its always funny how certain questions about theism usually result in either dead silence or the claim that one must become theist to understand the answer. The "its too complicated so I wont explain it" escape is rarer but not unheard of.

My favorite question that usually draws a blank is: Explain to me how the soul could rationally be a continuation of my consciousness. Whats really funny is that this is the basis of most theism, yet most theists don't understand it and are so uncomfortable about that that they wont discuss it.

The soul dies at death according to the Bible.

Ezekiel 18:4 (New American Standard Bible)

4"Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine, The soul who sins will die.

We all sin..we all die.
Nothing is still alive and conscience according to the Bible during death.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 (New American Standard Bible)
Whatever Your Hand Finds to Do
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

Only when one has a resurrection either to life on earth or to heaven does one regain consciousness.
